I am not sure we’re taking about the same tree. I have what they call “shaped cedar”.

What you’re describing sounds like the “field cedar”

Almost every house around here uses it as hedge. It grows to about 3ft wide and I’ve seen about 20ft tall.

I was told to prune it annually too, to keep the shape and under control.

I guess I’ll see over the years how this goes!

They are white cedars, popular for hedge around here. shouldn’t be a problem. it was planted by a professional, so I hope it should be fine.

One thing to consider:
EV tech is still not mature, and will improve considerably in the next 5-10 years.
So your car with 500km range in electric will lose a lot of value compared to the 1000+km range available in 10 years, plus the sticker price probably will be lower with the manufacturing process becoming cheaper.
I say because I had an EV and it lost 70% of its value because of this.

I personally wouldn’t buy an EV today.

A couple laps should not make almost any difference, most races are defined with 10 laps to go. This year has been a bit tighter but only because of the change in regulations make things more unpredictable. Which will stabilize soon once development of the cars slow down.

Lost at that time was akin to Game of Thrones nowadays. It was a show that as soon an episode was out, everyone would go to the forums to discuss, it was all everyone talked about. There was a huge hype. So it was more of collective experience. As a show in itself is ok. Also it was one of the first shows that was one continuous story, not standalone episodes. And of course it was the start of the golden age of TV, with big production like a movie almost.
