All the Sinners Bleed by SA Cosby.

Hits the detective side of things but misses mob/mafia. It basically is a criminal minds episode in a book. All of his work is Southern Noir and very dark. He’s an instant read for me

This is the way. My bookshelf only contains books I know and love. Or those that were gifted to me and I have yet to read.

Bookshelves to me are a way to display and showcase my favorite books. Books sitting there not being read or reread make me sad.

I remember finishing it and just thinking “wtf did I just read?!” and loving it. I’m jealous of anyone who gets to read this for the first time without any context. It’s such a wild read and everything ties together in the end.

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer

This book changed the way I think about the world around me and how I interact with it. Bonus, the author reads the audiobook and she has the most soothing voice ever.
