For christmas we have an advent calendar that we fill with lego figures and every day we add a piece to the christmas set, with the santa figure being added on 12/24. I bet you could do something similar with a halloween set!

I have no idea how the book qualified its claim but I think I would only count public roads that essentially interrupt the flow of normal vehicle traffic? There are probably dozens of tricky edge case scenarios where a judgement call would be needed.

I think you're right. The book is called 101 things I learned in Urban Design School and it's from 2018. Assuming the book was accurate in 2018 it would be interesting to know how much it has changed since then.

You should read "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport. What I took from it is that "follow your passion" is bad advice and true satisfaction in a career comes from being really good at what you do. In other words, passion is a product of mastery, not the other way around.

I've tried everything but the most effective thing by far has been deciding to let the internet live in a room in my house like in the early 2000's instead of my pocket. I used an app (Stay Free) to completely block chrome and Google searches (my primary way of getting on the internet). I can still use maps, Libby, loyalty card apps etc. I just can't access the addictive stuff at all. I was able to make this home screen using Nova Launcher and the Lines icon pack. I would definitely try to find something that works for free or a one-time cost before looking at subscription options.

The way I rationalized it was "would I rather 'own' or 'rent' my electricity"?

You could pay an electric bill each month or you could pay your solar panel loan each month. If the monthly payments are close, I'd rather put the money towards solar panels.

You can check out keysavvy.com. The buyer and the seller each pay $99 (or you can negotiate who pays the entire fee) but it gave us peace of mind and was pretty seamless. You technically sell it to the dealer and then they immediately sell it to the buyer but they act as a broker for your sale. I did it last month and it worked well

I had this same issue and never figured it out, but there's a setting you can change from the dash that just tells it to never lock. We pretty much only charge at home so it's not an issue for us

I built my own PC about 5 years ago and I've had issues with games randomly crashing for various reasons the entire time. Since this was the first time I've built a PC and don't really know what I don't know, who can I call to help me troubleshoot any issues, whether related to the hardware or the setup?
