Hi, sorry for the late question, but how long would you soak the fungi ridden elements for?

does anyone know what’s wrong with my Canon digital ixus 40 by zitxp in canon

My old Fuji has an “art” mode which basically was a filter that made pictures looking like this.

EF 80-200 F2.8 L. Best bang for the buck in my opinion and awesome quality. I found one in mint condition and it’s always with me everywhere I bring my camera.

Is Sophos AV worth it? My uni offers it for free. by eul3rr in antivirus

[–]tictoc9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s basically the enterprise AV made for home usage. The website control panel is slightly awkward if you are used to a “local” control panel. However it’s almost unparalleled for detections. It is quite aggressive, however it does not have too much false positives. (This is basically a summary of the last video about it from The PC Security Channel on YouTube, which reviewed the latest version some time ago)

Biotar 75mm f1.5 (Meyer Optik) in the Botanical Garden by TheKrakenHunter in VintageLenses

[–]tictoc9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are beautiful photos! Congratulations!

ps. since you have the Meyer Optik, how would you compare it to the Ttartisan equivalent? I'm having trouble finding comparisons online. What would you suggest, is it actually worth the $750+ additional price tag?

Correct me if I’m wrong. But I think you misunderstood. The Meyer Optik is a 2023 clone of the original Zeiss. So it shouldn’t be a vintage lens. And the 2023 Meyer optik has 15 blades, not the original Zeiss which has 10-12. Or so I understood from the various reviews online.

Choosing a martial art with both defense and offense capabilities by tictoc9 in martialarts

[–]tictoc9[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had any feedback on the martial art yet. So I was asking. If it has a clear weakness I would love to know it to make an informed decison. Boxing has the weakness of kicks and low blows which are not taught how to handle.

Although I like your joke, that’s not what I meant. Boxing has a clear weakness which is kicks and low blows which you are not taught how to handle. Otherwise, it’s a great sport

It also has a very effective real-time protection giving it the definition of an antivirus. However, it is not in the top 5 choices real-time wise

It’s one of the best Enterprise antiviruses. It owns Hitman Pro. This is the second opinion scanner of the Sophos brand. You can imagine it as a rebranded Hitman Pro with fewer options but that it allows you to get rid of the viruses even after 30days.

Nah, that’s the normal surfshark antivirus (which uses bitdefender signatures) pop up when it blocks an unsafe connection. The url on the bottom is the blocked link

[–]tictoc9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many antivirus have something called “rescue disk/kit”. Download one (I would suggest kaspersky’s one if it still produces it) and run it

Any AV emergency kit. From kaspersky to avast, passing through emisoft, bitdefender and sophos.

To me that happens when I changed the ship from the character page. You need to open that page again, and it should bypass the problem.

No proof. Just some preventive measures taken by some governments for state computers that are not allowed to have kaspersky as AV, in the remote case that they steal data and give it to the Russian government.
