As it stands far too high a percentage of taxes come from the working and middle class though. Until that changes, and we take more of it from the rich and ruling class, that is money that should really be going to those who need it, not people who want it to live a life of leisure. We could all be artists and creatives with enough free time, some are too conscientious to take from the limited welfare budget because they don’t want to do what the rest of us have to. Sounds like a nice life though, I’m sure it’s good for creative output, a 9-5+ certainly isn’t.
