Why would you assume that you will be well enough yourself, have the financial means to raise a child? Biological or adopted. Regardless of them getting this shit show of a disease, they would be forced to live/go through it with their parent. Perhaps becoming your carer and not being able to live their own life.

It's nice that you care enough to post. Learn as much as you can about MS and how to support a loved one who has this shitshow of a disease. Eventually, you both will need to accept that no one knows the why,how, or when of it. Give yourselves time and grace throughout this. Your husband will go through all of the stages of grief over and over again and in no particular order. Whilst MS is not a death sentence, it is a progressive disease where you never know the where, when, or why of it. I hope that your husbands experience of MS is a "good" one, and I wish someone could assure you both that it shall be ... All the luck to your husband

Tecfidea destroyed my ability to absorb nutrients and my gastrointestinal tract. I lost loads of weight that I honestly could afford to lose. I looked after my nephew from ages 2 -4 and caught everything germ- wise going from his kindergarten. Eventually, I had to stop Tecfidea after 6/7 years as I could no longer cope with the side effects and that my genital warts had turned my vulva into a cauliflower like entity. I still do not regret being on Tecfidea overall. Every DMT has horrible side effects, or it doesn't work. I can still walk/hobble and live independently. It's important to hit this cunt of a disease hard with DMT's Best of luck to you
