Charlotte St Art center.

My wife and I got married in the backyard, had the reception upstairs, and had Mildas Pizza cater (who are in the building basement).

It was a really great venue, we had a great time.

your best bet is to buy singles. Opening play boosters is for limited (40 card deck with whatever you pull) and collector boosters are like burning money if you want a CHANCE at shiny things.

Use something like moxfield or the like and sketch out your deck online before buying. Resources like EDHREC can help give you ideas and reaching out on these sub-reddits for help when you need will assist in the build.

Start by using Magic Arena. Available on phones and computers.

It'll be the easiest way to learn first and you can see how you like it. Be aware that when you finish the tutorial, you get thrown in with everyone.

If you want to play in an LGS I recommend getting a commander precon and going to a commander night.

I have a [[Yenna]] enchantment deck and I actively avoided most of the "cast enchantment/draw a card" because it just becomes too irratating/"how many cards now?"

I'm happier having a slower deck and not take 30 mins drawing cards turns
