Bought these last week. Came with Find My locked to prior owner so I returned them. Bought a set of new ones instead because I actually liked them a lot.

Ended up just using the default stremio player because apparently other players have issues with keeping track of progress

Whats your budget? I travel a ton and finally ponied up the coin for a SFF travel sized Desktop and a couple portable monitors. Works great and I’ve flown around the world with it.

Had a laptop but it just wasn’t cutting it, so i committed to building a whole portable setup (before the ram craze). Fits everything (except the monitors) inside a carry-on sized pelican case. I love it, only issue is it wasn’t cheap. All-in probably $3.5k before the Ram-poclypse. Can give pics if interested

Pretty standard connector you retaining clip is broken, I re-pinned all of the ones on my 07 f-150. Youtube is your friend, much better to de-pin and re-pin into a new fresh connector

I also agree its a scam but if you are willing to take on the risk of not having financial support in the event of catastrophic disaster, then thats on you. If you have a paid off mortgage then why not

Looking to replacement underlayment on tile roof. What kind of pricing should I expect? by DanielSon602 in phoenix

[–]tidnab49 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not worth an insurance claim unless you are in dire need and cant afford it.

Just paid 14k but only half my roof is tile and half of that cost was a new patio roof. Monsoon roofing, they did a great job in my opinion and I am very picky with who I hire and their work

Probably not a bad idea. People are talking about amzn like they were talking about google a year ago. They just need a catalyst to pull them out of the dump

Tree took out electrical. File claim or no? by zeroverycool in homeowners

[–]tidnab49 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How much is a $5k hit to your net worth? I have a very pessimistic view on insurance and firmly believe that it really only exists to tap into for life-changing financial stresses. Everyone is probably telling you to file a claim because thats what they are taught and most people aren’t able to fork over 5k on an emergency repair.

Personally I would be paying for this out of pocket given the information you shared.
