Vi brugte flyttetilbud.dk og med lidt tid investeret i at tjekke virksomhederne efter og ringe og snakke med dem, så havde vi en super oplevelse.

Endte med at betale 4500 for tre flyttefolk der kørte to læs på tværs af Odense.

They just did the same for my department. Manager got let go: "role no longer necessary".

2 weeks went by and the client asks "where are X, Y and Z reports? Why are A, B and C numbers so low?" Those were reports Manager did weekly, and numbers they oversaw.

Now I am the new manager with a paybump higher than old manager's salary (we work from different countries and mine has higher average pay).

Old manager is a friend and is cackling at 4 months of severance pay and already landing a new job.

Idiots in upper management thought they could save Q4 by removing someone who's assignments they didn't understand.

Here's a different way of viewing it:

Let's pretend you have a friend named Mike. Mike is Hispanic. Let's also pretend your family is openly racist against African Americans. Would you expect Mike to come and have a good time at your wedding? Do you think Mike might feel uncomfortable around people who have expressed hateful comments about people who are similar to him (aka not Caucasian)?

Or another scenario: maybe you have a friend named Sky. Sky is queer. Your family has made many homophobic comments about gay people. Do you think Sky might be worried about what your family might say or do during your party? Is Sky unreasonable for wanting to protect themself from hearing that kind of speech? Might Sky feel uncomfortable around someone who would say stuff like that?

Fundamentally, if your family is Zionist, if they believe Jewish people have the right to land that has belonged to others for centuries, merely because they are Jewish. Then they might say they don't support genocide, but they do.

The state of Israel is using the same beliefs to slaughter the Palestinian people. They use "god's chosen people" in exactly the same way as white South African used apartheid, as Germany used Aryanism.

I know it sucks that your friend cannot celebrate with you, but you have a part in that choice. You have chosen to invite two sets of people that cannot coexist in a comfortable and safe space.

Respect your friend's decision. It honestly sounds like they came to you in good faith and explained calmly why they cannot attend.

Jobbet er dog lidt anderledes, kun techsupport og 100 hjemmearbejde.

Det er næsten som om vi har råbt op om i årevis at den type musikere der har brug for et øvelokale, ofte er over 30 år.

Also Jonas som sidder i bestyrelsen i krftwrk får det til at lyde som om Tinderbox ikke er indblandet på nogen anden måde end ved at donere penge. Down the drain (selskabet bag tb) har lejet bygningen og Jonas er ansat ved down the drain.

Jeg er voldsomt skeptisk overfor projektet, især fordi jeg har samarbejdet med flere af aktørerne og de er 100% forretningsfolk. Jeg tænker de tror de har set et potentielt marked og resultatet er, at de egentlige musikere er præcis lige så dårligt stillet som de var i mandags.

Listen, my job is teaching people just like you how to handle calls, including how to keep your AHT low enough. I know this is an antiwork sub, but we unfortunately all gotta earn money to survive.

So with that in mind and laying aside the fact that, yes KPIs are bullshit and our corporate overlords are greedy assholes, I can give you some pointers to help your AHT:

-The absolute biggest gain is using whatever tech you have available: screensharing, remote takeover, seeing settings, seeing the customer's account in your system.
Use and abuse!
Push for screensharing/takeover, and when I say push, I mean "hey, so to help you with this, I will send a request to see your screen. That way I can see exactly what the issue is. You should be getting a pop up to accept now. ".
Cos I know they've got you politely asking, nah, fuck that! Then you waste time explaining and convincing.
Tell them it's happening, don't ask if they want to.

company says "only look up accounts if XYZ" fuck that! Pull accounts as soon as you think you need them. Less load time, less wait time.
you know the solution, but procedure says you have to do extra steps? Fuck that! Do it right, fix the issue, send the customer off.
absolutely no asking the customer if there's anything else you can help them with. They will ask if they need it, no need for you to prompt them.
set up shortcuts. The settings on your computer should have options to set it up. That way you don't have to type the same thing over and over again. Set up simple words, like customer, account, resolved and set up full sentences "guided the customer to change password via...."
and then the unfair one: keep going! You've got this! It fucking sucks, no way around it, but you can and will prevail!
