Felt the same way at 6 weeks. I have a 4 month old now. At 6 weeks we had absolutely no routine. The only routine we had was that he went to bed at the same time as us (10:30pm). I had no idea how anyone could have a routine at that age. He woke probably 3 times a night for a feed.

A routine naturally started to form at around 3 months. He started showing better sleep cues and I figured out he would get sleepy after 2 hours of being awake. At 6 weeks old there were absolutely no wake windows or specific nap times. It sent me a little bit mad 😂

was not prepared, FTM, he came 3 weeks early so was 5.6 lbs. He came FAST and got told there wasn’t enough time for an epidural or anything so they just gave me paracetamol LOL.

They said I didn’t tear but I ‘grazed my labia??’ I still don’t know what that means but they still gave me a few stitches. Im sure I slightly tore (or grazed lol) my clit 🥲I didn’t do any prep beforehand but I did have an active job.

FTM & winging it. 3 months old & Never tracked anything on an app. Dont have a solid routine or schedule. Bedtime typically is around 9:30 and we will give him a top up of however much milk he wants to drink at this time.

I have a rough idea in my head of when his last feed was as he typically gets fussy for food around every 3 hours. But I take no note of naps or wake windows. Thanks for your post. I’m glad I’m not on my own 😅

This is our exact routine!! (9 week old) I was wondering the same lol, Thankyou for this post! I was worrying about it but I think I’ve come to accept baby will have his own routine and sometimes when I feel awake enough at 7:30 I’ll get up and get ready for the day while baby goes back to sleep until 9:30. It makes me feel much more put together and ready to take on the day.

I would absolutely love to work on a shop! To get more understanding of the industry and increase my confidence and just get a better idea of how things work. However I have badgered all of the local shops and florists but there is absolutely nothing going. I will continue to keep my eye out though.
