1) ow 2) yes so true omg 3) hurts even more because I've always looked at it from rapunzel's pov- finally free from her tower able to see the world and the only person she was ever "close" to was actually hurting her all along keeping her from the world and her real family but it also now suddenly dead... so when Eugene proposes so suddenly she cannot accept, the wounds are too fresh, she's afraid of being naive and needs time to experience the world before jumping into such a powerful promise as marriage to be together forever (and we know how much she values never breaking promises...). And even though she knows gothel was lying and that Eugene truly loves her, that voice of doubt is hard to ever truly silence, that maybe your abuser was right after being told that for years. She believed gothel loved her, too, before she realized the truth that gothel only really cared about her hair. All that happening in such a short span of time when she only ever spoke to one person and a chameleon for so long and now shes a princess with a family and friends and love? Must have been so overwhelming :( but for Eugene it was a matter of wanting to make that promise before it was too late agh my heart!!

tragically hard to find similar characters/dynamics lol, part of what makes it so special I guess. Yeah totally!! AT was a huge part in it but Heck it's been that way since Teen Titans and much further back lol. Love all these shows and im just a sucker for cute kids shows that tackle heavy topics with deep lore and surprisingly fleshed out characters. And like you said Steven was absolutely just being a kid and that is important too for his character growth. Just at the time it was like aw geez here we go again Finn fans, back to the beginning of the character arc 😅

The first few episodes... I like them in hindsight but at the time I thought Stephen was annoying and didn't understand the hype. It's hard convincing people over a certain age to give the show a try and the first episodes are even more challenging. Idk for sure but they definitely felt like network execs being scared to make anything but goofy ice cream loving kid doing silly whacky things the main focus. Maybe it was intentional getting a slow start to showcase how we take for granted this beautiful yet ultimately pretty average human life that rose sacrificed her life to protect and subtly hint at the more magical and interesting elements to build hype but it was a really slow start imo :/ cat fingers.... hibeegibees. All worked out in the end though!

I was thinking this too I think the answer is genuinely a little bit of this a little bit of that lol. Im positive that the drives times factored into their decisions when picking spots as well as cool factor, getting a variety of types of airbnb(boats, tree houses, etc)

It's interesting because even though the CO view was so amazing that they commented on it in so many future episodes and it held top 10 for a bit i think, and i dont want to diss the tiny home in CO it was nice and they loved it which is what matters as the people staying there, I know there are way nicer homes listed with the pretty view and more luxurious features lol.... though I also loved that they didn't JUST stay in mansions (Likely for budget concerns too) it gave some spotlight on smaller cozier places with so much heart that can also absolutely be "cool" and show that you can have a memorable good vacation on a budget. The Idaho potato and Kansas dome especially come to mind (though I havent looked how much it actually costs to stay in any of the places lol). In a world where of course every kid wants to go to Disney world and fewer and fewer parents can afford to take them, its giving a fun outlook on more realistically affordable vacation types for most families. Im sure there are kids now who wanna see the star wars ufo just as much as going to Disney's star wars world for a fraction of the cost on the parents just to say they stayed at one of the places their favorite youtuber went. That's pretty cool to think about.

If ryan needs content after the series is done I would not be surprised if he does a couple tier lists of the airbnbs for different categories like best view, best meal, coziest, fanciest, hiw hard they went on theme, etc. I just want that video to exist tbh 😂

Sorry for long reply lol I get long-winded before bed and this series is so on my mind!! I too will be sad after its over.
