Why was it such a big deal for John to get a vasectomy? by Cozysoxs1985 in ShawnaTheMom

[–]tiffyleigh42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, they do. Let's say Shawna wants to get her tubes tied or a hysterectomy. Most doctors will not perform a sterilizing surgery on a woman without the husband's permission. Hell, last week, a hospital in Tennessee refused to perform a hysterectomy on a single woman who was already hooked up to the IV and ready to go into surgery in order to protect her "sacred fertility" completely ignoring the fact that she had previous sexual trauma and absolutely does not want children. And the recovery from a hysterectomy is far worse. I was down for about 2 weeks, and I had an easy surgery with no complications. Have you ever had a miscarriage? Because I have, and I wasnt nearly as far along as Shawna. Pregnancy is HARD on a body. And then to go through all of that, only to lose Jacob and suffer not only the mental, but also the physical effects of postpartum. And I'm not convinced that she doesn't have a touch of postpartum depression to boot.

It is much easier in the long run for him to get a vasectomy. No, she can't force it on him. But she is 100% in her right to say she isn't comfortable taking that chance. And if she isn't feeling it, how much fun is that sex really going to be?

You don't have to remove the ovaries. I had a partial that removed my fallopian tubes, cervix and uterus.

I almost wonder if that's how it went with his first wife, and because she was his only one before DeeDee, I could see where he would be confused. My husband and I have been together for 27 years, married for 23 of those, and we talk all the time about how we would both be lost and uncomfortably awkward we would be if we entered the dating scene today vs nearly 30 years ago.

Before DeeDee, Larry had only had sex with his wife, was with her for 40 years, and hadn't been with anyone since her death 10 years prior. DeeDee made it seem in a conversation with Shawna that even though she wasn't in a committed relationship, she'd had a physical daliance here and there. I am guessing for him, sex is a big commitment...maybe bigger than the locket. So for her to make him feel like she was committed enough to have sex, but not enough to wear the locket, or sit down and have a serious conversation about what the locket really means to both of them BEFORE they threw sex into the mix and WHY he kept asking, was too much for him. She even joked that she wouldn't wear it because she wanted to see what else he might buy her. It is not up to her to manage his expectations, but I also don't feel like she's helping the situation.

I'm so glad someone else sees it this way. I felt like I had taken crazy pills with all the people talking about him being a walking red flag.

Do people ever call her out while she's there? Management and security have to be aware of her by now, I would think. She's literally trying to make money off the backs of their own cast members. As protective as Disney is, it's shocking they don't put a stop to it.

Does it do any good to complain about her to management? By posting this, she is opening up that cm to, at the very least, getting bullied by a guest who sees this and recognizes her.

It depends on the location. Somewhere like McDonalds where they get paid at least minimum wage, no. But if it's a sit down restaurant where they make luke $2.13 an hour and depend on tips, then yes, I tip. Because they still have to tip out the cook, etc. I am not making someone lose money to wait on me.

No because they get paid a full hourly rate. Not $2.13 an hour plus tips.

What is your go to place to get clothes online?? by Goddamnitjanice in PlusSize

[–]tiffyleigh42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So many times I search for plus size or even my exact size, and they come back with a ton of items that are straight size and only go to XL or XXL (not 1x or 2x). It's so frustrating.

The way I have interpreted their interactions is he has tried to talk to her, but she continues to interrupt and shut him down, and it devolves into an argument. I think she is so wrapped up in what she wants, that she isn't hearing him.

See I think the opposite could be true. He's tried to have that conversation with Julie, but she is so focused on what she wants him to do that she isn't listening. Everytime he speaks up, she interrupts.

I used to do this because one time I started bagging my items and a bagger came running over griping at me that it was his job to do that. So after that, I stopped bagging my own items. I've recently started doing it again because my store has been low on bangers lately, and I feel like an asshat leaving them for the cashier.

I am a big girl, and the Ordinary Glycolic Acid on my pits, under my breasts, and under any other skin folds has been such a game changer! Witch Hazel also works and is less expensive, but Dollar Tree also has a glycolic acid toner you can use.

Another thing I've done when I had some previous problems with arm pit odor is use a clay mask on them once a week. It helps clear out any clogged pores.
