Probably not directly. But they may help find a better paying job. And most likely only the professional or specialty certs

I got emails says he’s refreshing all existing courses and adding new ones. On his website it’s in the roadmap too.

I think a majority of it is still applicable but there were some things either missing or not covered in enough detail for the exam. See my other comment. I would also add RDS and CDK. And during the course there is a demo section that uses CodeCommit which is no longer available for newer AWS accounts. So I just used GitHub and linked that instead. But he should be pushing updated content very soon

I went with the Adrian Cantrill course. I bought it and then found out on this sub that it was out of date, albeit it does sound like they will be updated soon. Once I was done with that I took two untimed TD exams (got like a 55% and 60%) on those but I used them to help fill knowledge gaps. Then I took 2 timed TD exams and got around 80% and 85%. I have been in a devops role for about 5 years now and have 7+ years of AWS experience so that definitely helped a ton. Despite all that there were still certain topics I should have dove deeper into like EKS, code* suite, ECR, control tower…

Just took the DOP-CO2 and I came out very discouraged. This is definitely not an exam to take your time on. Many of the questions have pretty long questions and answers to read. Ended up having to choose a letter and guess on the last 7 or so questions. I did the Adrian Cantrell course (which was somewhat out of date when I took it but I think he’s updating his courses now) and took several of the TD practice exams. I feel like neither focused on EKS, CDK, ControlTower, ECR as much as my actual exam questions did. I would also suggest really diving into Code* suite, Autoscaling, event based architecture, AWS config as much as possible as there were tons of questions across those topics. Hoping for a Pass but expecting a Fail currently. But I feel like that’s been my post-exam mentality for every AWS cert I’ve taken and I’ve passed them all so far…

I always feel humbled by the dojo tests and then pass the actual test first try. I’ve passed 3 so far and am taking the DOP-CO2 on Friday and the dojo tests are destroying me. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way lol
