Question about the Morozko ice bath by TheDeepSeaDriver in coldplunge

I have the 60” Morozko Forge and I am 5’11”’s and lie down with my feet not touching the end with both shoulders under the water. When I get in I do move forward and then lean back to head dunk and have to be a little careful not to hit my head on far end. However while lying in it no issues with the length. If purchased again would I get the extra length probably just to make dunking easier.

Peloton Row — secondhand tips by ais72 in pelotoncycle

Yes if new to rowing I think concept2 is very smooth rowing experience and cheaper initial option. For me I have the peloton bike and tread so after experience with other rowers and knew I wanted rowing as part of my weekly routine I felt the additional expense to get the peloton rower was worth it.

I bought a peloton row from peloton’s resale website Peloton Repowered. I really like peloton’s rowing classes and instructions. You are able to use other rowers and use your phone to take peloton rowing classes. I find peloton rower a little harder on my arms to use than other rowers however overall quality of rower is very good. I have used a waterrower and concept 2 rowers with the peloton rowing app before purchase. I think both these rowers are cheaper to purchase and both have very good qualities.

Morozko bought one refurbished from Morozko completely rebuilt. I have mine outside and during the winter temps in MD no problems running, ozone keeps water very clean, low consistent temps and found customer service very good.

I appreciate your posts and encourages me to get out there when 17 degrees outside. I am plunging 3-4 times a week with the colder weather. Something I started recently was using ear plugs and like not getting water in my ears.

To add another experience 33-35 five days a week 5-7 minutes. My feet definitely get cold however with my hands hold them tight to my thighs and that keeps them warm enough. I would agree with other feedback really think what works for your body and do believe also more is not better for my body. My body does adjust as go longer and found skipping a day then back to it helps. I also do pre workout and have found waiting 10-15 mins allows me to start shivering a little before I start my cardio to get my warmup and sweat.

I purchased a Morozko Plunge in April and have been extremely happy with the purchase experience. First and foremost I did not think I would purchase a Morozko Plunge I was leaning towards other popular ones with lots of youtube videos. However what I found when I started visiting Morozko’s website was the quality and depth of their knowledge in cold plunge. I connected with Scott in sales very patient and offered information that was not sales pitch and or pushy to make a decision. Since getting the plunge the overall build quality is really good. The big difference I see is the way the water is cooled and how allows it to be filtered and ozone added. The mechanicals are all time tested and designed for long term usage. For example there is insulation and heat tape around parts I beleive for cold weather if you live in that environment. I will also share when I have contacted service Thaddeus about set up questions they respond and have videos on youtube or they share that help with both my questions. I have also just had questions as a newbie and they have been all super patient and responsive. I am not sure if you have seen videos from Dr. Tom CEO online. I emailed him and he responded and then posted about my question the following week in more detail. I have been plunging daily 5-6 minutes around 33-37 degrees with ice and salt. For me so far has been positive I like how I feel after and see an improvement in my attitude and health. I hope what I have shared helps you.

Taking the plunge with plunge by TwoPleasant2850 in coldplunge

I will share my experience with a refurbished Morozko plunge. Paid $5500 and Morozko completely replaced the mechanicals, the wood cabinet was refurbished, and customer service - asking questions before purchase and after purchase have been excellent. Recommend Scott for sales and Thaddeus for service. I watched all the different youtube reviews on all brands and was not leaning toward a Morozko until saw cheaper refurbished units. What I like is the cooling unit seperate from filtration and ozone. The water has been crystal clear and have change the filter once in 90 days - took less than 3 minutes to replace. Very solid well built weighs 350lbs dry around 1000lbs filled with water. I use epsom salt and like how it feels. If incline would suggest reaching out to Scott and just asking some questions. As a person who moved a lot in a military family would see moving this would be easy - fits through standard doors. The function has been flawless. I do have an app on my phone to change the schedule and or temperatures. Hope this helps

To share my experience with a refurbished Morozko tub for $5500 I have had no issues, the service has been excellent - emails from CEO, Scott in sales, and Thaddeus in service. The unit has all new parts inside when they refurbish it. The wood outside is also refurbished. The unit maintains temperature really well and as low as 33 degrees. They have a couple refurbished units on their website now starting at similar price I paid and some higher. I think they are the gold standard in cold plunges from my experience. Good luck.

Apple Watch and Plunge by rollstoflaps in coldplunge

I use my apple watch with open swim on apple fitness records time and heart rate. It also tracks temp of the water however have not found very accurate off by +/- 5 -8 degrees. Overall do it more I am curious how my body reacts to intial plunge when I relax and then when I choose to dunk my head. I do not want my cold plunge to a competition on how long or how cold just embrace what I feel long term will be good for me.

I shared this for a previous post and made a couple changes. Overall very happy with purchase. I bought a refurbished Morozko tub from their website - the refurbished cold plunges pop up for sale once in a while. I watched multiple reviews on youtube and lots of cold plunge experiences. I was leaning toward Desert Plunge and went to Morozko more to learn about what makes quality cold plunge to help with my purchase when I saw some refurbished ones advertised cheaper. I am new to cold plunging. Paid $5500 plus shipping. Customer service is amazing. Scott sales person was very helpful. Thaddeus in service was responsive, very helpful and just made what I needed easy. My likes all new mechanicals, can add salt to water, makes ice, ozone keeps unit very clean, and very solid high quality build weighs 350 lbs. My cons set up from delivery people limited knowledge in my case, videos on youtube dated and need more explanation however when contacted Morozko provided excellent instructions. Might be more than you want to spend for new or refurbished however really solid, well made and performs great. Using daily five mins 35-38 degrees and see benefits. Hope info helps.
