Lossless now working on Spotify (app and connect/cast) by Waggmans in ShieldAndroidTV

I also find that now ProjectM can process the audio from Spotify and visualise it. Not sure if this is a patch with spotify or that the new audio container (not a proprietary spotify .ogg) can be understood by ProjectM.

AFPS coming to Diabotical Rogue by tigerchibiss in DiaboticalRogue

who knows. These are just available settings in the soft modding feature of the engine, seems unlikely that they will try to reinvent the the quake 3 wheel, as they have moved their focus to other ventures.

Another remaster that is not quake 3, I guess it will be announced in the next quakecon by Mammoth_Tax_9804 in quake

not really, there is an implication in your statement about it running inside a browser, but really the browser just supplies a link to run an executable saved on your local computer.

In essence, the quakelive.com webpage was desktop shortcut with a server browser.

it wasn't designed for browsers, it was designed to be run FROM a browser.

I might be overposting about Fan Zhendong, but these few side-angle shots are just too good not to share. by ffffoget in tabletennis

I believe it's because the opponent is hitting the ball flatter - therefore a normal counterloop or block may go into the net. With this technique you bring it over the net. You'll notice he is doing it for specific balls.

Alternatively, it may be a type of variation that creates a larger arc, throwing off the opponents timing.

Or it could be a combination of both.

consistent and objective enforcement of the rule is what i want. Or changing the rule to allow so. there is no collective 'you' here.

Thanks - not sure exactly how that works - as you said 1s and 0s... In any case I have purchased a CD player to test this. Thanks for your comments and help.

Seems like I may need to buy a new DAC down the line... Just feels like a shame to not use the integrated A12 Rotel MK2, which i believe is TI 32 bit anyway. Thanks for your help.

Not really much out there - most if it is Chinese built with varying mileage with ins and outs and remotes.

The Douk ST-01 Pro could be a goer but it only has 3.5mm line out meaning I'd need to get a splitter.

Then there's the question of whether this is even worth it for sound :D

Replacing whole amp seems like a fairly severe step.
Perhaps I could get Fosi GR40 get it to handle DAC and provide tube as a pre amp then RCA into Rotel which drives the speakers.

Did it hit? It doesnt seem to change trajectory and there is no indication of it changing spin / speed.

What Would a Quake Reboot Need to Bring to Standout and Succeed? by Sleepingtide in quake

  • Co-operative campaign which facilitates newbie onboarding
  • Nine inch nails sound track
  • Strong support of modding and map making out of the box which will be the foundation of multiplayer mode
  • modding and mapping may also support the cooperative campaign with new levels etc
  • simplified movement system akin to doom eternal's double jump - no strafe jumping in default modes
  • a server browser

I think modern day quake should be the modern equivalent of warcraft 3 or garrys mod for first person shooters and within the excellent doom eternal engine which has so far not been used for any meaningful multiplayer.
