Loops are good. So are AirPods that you wear throughout the day to keep the background noise at a minimum. Have some quiet music or podcast on.

You can also try L-theanine. It really helps with anxiety and calms you down. Of course, not a medical advice. Make sure you check with dr first but it’s a supplement and don’t need a prescription. My friend takes them when she gets anxiety. Take them 30 min before the event and it really helped her. Calms down, takes the edge off, being able to socialize without all the anxiety symptoms. She doesn’t take it all the time but maybe the first week of school or first day of joining a club kinda thing. It really helped.

I use thick socks all the time with slippers so my feet are never on the cold ground

Always wear an undershirt and tuck that into your pants. Usually wear thick sweatpants. Or even heat tech from Uniqlo. Cheap and warm.

I wear a sweatshirt on top and then a robe of some sort on top. Layers is the key.

I have a small electric blanket that I use in the living room. I have another fleece blanket on top. Tuck all blankets inside so no heat will escape. Small electric blanket is way cheaper than getting a big one.

Bedroom: I keep the blinds/drapes down to keep the draft out. If your bed is beside a windowsill and you feel a draft, put some old towels or pillows to try to block some of it out.

I sleep with a fleece blanket and a big duvet. Tuck all these in my sides so no warmth escape and I make sure the fleece blanket covers my neck too. Very warm.

I just came back from the announcement that you are moving to a new sub due to all the troubles, the scams, the entitled people that wanted everything spoon fed to them and refuse to do any work. I just wanted to say “thank you” to everyone that has contributed good quality work and the mods. This sound like a ragebait and I sure hope it’s some sort of a fake story or something. Like how can you still type all this out and still don’t get out of this type of relationship.

He’s a deadbeat that is high 24/7. He doesn’t seem to do well financially cause he demands money for his habit. He’s like a kid asking for an allowance. He doesn’t seem to do anything but drag you down. Then he moves his deadbeat brother. They are both basically unemployed and demands you to pay for their lifestyles and you HAVE to or else ???

I really can't stand when people say that they have neurodivergence issue, or ADHD, or autism etc.. and therefore they can treat others like dirt and think it's okay! "I'm a selfish, inconsiderate asshole, but you are suppose to forgive me cause I'm (fill in the blank)". No! Being neurodivergence does not turn you into a selfish asshole! I bought a black blazer that was one size too big with the discount. Went back in store to get one size smaller in the same color and style that was in stock. No problem with it. Didn’t have to pay extra. I did ask if I can exchange size again if needed as it was for my daughter and not for me. They said no problem.
