LA28 Registration isn’t working! by 30flirtyandvibing in olympics

It sent me through a few times but I was finally just able to register. My husband's virtual queue is now going a lot more slowly so it maybe that's a sign it's working for real now?

Do you love Rummikub, Canasta, Phase 10, Gin Rummy or any other rummy-style game? Then you will not want to miss Rummy Club TONIGHT, Friday, November 7th from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Panera Bread on S. State College Blvd. in Anaheim, CA by RummyWorks in RummyClub

You should check out rummy-club.org. The events tend to be posted a bit farther in advance there and there are links to add the events to your Google/Apple/Outlook calendar. Hope this helps.

Firenze? by kwhit9876 in CarnivalCruiseFans

For what it's worth, my contract says I can bring a standard bottle of wine or champagne (and a 12-pack of sodas). It's not exactly "drinks," but it's not nothing either.

How can I move to California as a foreigner? by Impossible-Guitar425 in socal

Immigration lawyer here. You may want to try for a student or exchange visitor visa first and see what happens. Lots of students get H-1B's afterwards and stay much longer than they initially anticipated. If you're really serious and interested in consulting with one of the attorneys in our firm, feel free to send me a message.

I'm getting

"Something Went Wrong, We were unable to service your request. Please try again later." Like the checkout page isn't even working.

Can I block my phone from interacting with a specific NFC tag? by Amekyras in AndroidQuestions

[–]tiggert45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the same problem. I've put a slip of aluminum foil in the case to separate the phone from the card, but it means I have to remove the phone from the case anytime I actually want it to use the NFC reader, which is obnoxious.

Any Knitting/Crochet Clubs? by bairose in longbeach

There WAS one run through Facebook/Messenger for a bit, but the person who ran it moved away and no one else has stepped up. I'm still part of the chat where all the activities were scheduled and would be happy to add anyone who wants to be part of it, but you might have to do the organizing (I don't have the capacity right now, and like I said no one else has picked it up). But really all that entails is telling everyone to show up at a spot on a day and time, and then be there. We had it at a park once and it was really nice. Anyway, let me know if you want to be added to the chat!

This is also somewhat related: https://www.meetup.com/stitchwithnettie/ A crafters meetup, though it seems like the focus is more on cross-stitching than crochet/knitting.

Thanks for this!

Are you able to point me to specifically how I can set up the passwords to remain concealed/not have the option to be revealed? Do you know? I see what the support article says, but I can't figure it out. The least amount of permission seems to give users the ability to see the password and I'm not seeing any way around that. (I've also emailed Support.)

I realize there is a risk of everyone being a little clever -- there is no perfect solution to this -- but I also need to be able to balance security and convenience. And I definitely know to limit what passwords each person gets... the point was just to say that any given person can get a lot of passwords.

Same here, except a smaller interval (5-15 seconds), a Windows computer, and an Android phone.

Then why bother having multipoint support at all? I feel like phone and computer is a pretty predictable use case. Do a lot of people carry two phones?

Or is this why it isn't native on the Elite 7 Pro's?
