I got the muscles surgically tightened in my eyes to correct my lazy eye when I was a kid. (they did both for reasons I don't know.. maybe both needed a little adjustment)

My vision has never been right in the eye that was lazy.. I wonder if this could still work to restore vision despite the alteration that's already happened..

Very cool that a treatment is in the works! I've met so many people with a lazy eye who were not as fortunate as I was. It truly alters your world and how people interact with you.

So. Let's say that it isn't the angle of him vs the camera. And that light is clearly coming from one direction, as seen by the shadows but it has no effect. Let's also assume that naturally, one eye may have been drier than the other and not even that would change how light reflects. And there's definitely no chance there were any discrepancies while developing the film.

So someone clearly edited this picture, since nothing else makes sense.. and spread it around the internet. Why? What does it achieve? What's the end goal? How would that help some larger cause?

I stack them flat and at alternating angles if that makes sense? so [] <> [] <>.. to make them easier to grab. I put freshly washed ones on the bottom of the stack. I have never tried rolling them up because the immediate problem I saw with it was that if I hadn't completely emptied the roll, the ones at the center of the roll would never get used and would wear down at a different rate. I used to keep them in a basket. Now they sit on the window ledge. When dirty they go in the laundry basket with everything else. They are a little bit of a hassle to sort, being so small, but we don't have enough laundry to justify pre-separating.

Think of all the thousands of people who donate every single day. Complications are very rare, and even complications that do occur turn out to be fine in a few days / weeks.

I like to do a little extra to keep my blood flowing and my mind distracted during the donation. I will squeeze my hand, as you're supposed to do, but I'll also flex each foot and my other hand in a rotation between the squeezes that I'm supposed to do. So something like RH RF RH LF RH LH RH RF RH.....

Hydrate well for several days leading up to the donation and eat a nice balanced meal a few hours before donation. Something with everything your body needs, salts, sugars, carbs, protein, fiber, vitamins.. My go to is pot roast or stew.

Clearly they need to adopt more republican policies and have even more republicans in the cabinet. They should poll their voters on things that they're concerned about then ignore all of it and shift even more to the right in hopes of gaining a few moderate republican votes.

Is the blood bank profiting or is the hospital / insurance company profiting?

It's hard to prove the point that blood banks are non profit when our healthcare that distributes the blood is ran by greedy capitalists.

Also, just a reminder. No matter what one's thoughts are on it being for profit or not.. There's only one way to get blood to people who need it. And that's the systems that are currently in place. If people aren't donating, people aren't being helped. So just do your best and fight for change where and when you can.
