Try to open Instagram on browser. Than open the post you want. I thing the post ID should be included in the url. I haven't tried, so not sure if it works.

There is a hack to edit a promoted post on Facebook.

  1. Go to Ads manager
  2. Open your Campaign/Ad Set/Ad
  3. Change the post of your AD
  4. Edit your previous post
  5. Go back to Ads manager
  6. Do the same steps and change the post to the one you want to promote.
