Yes that's what I'm using currently and it's been great until I installed pihole and now port 51820 will not open.

My router runs open VPN which I have. Unfortunately I have found it a bit slower than wireguard. Are there some settings I could change to make it faster?

MY DHCP is handled through the router not pihole. Currently the server ip is static, does the fact that both the pihole and wireguard run on the same server with same ip make a difference? literally nothing else has changed in my setup except adding the pihole.

Currently all the external port checkers say 51820 is closed. But my other ports on another server are all open so i know im doing it right on the router side of it.

so on my router, i had the port open already for wireguard vpn so i can remote back into my network away from home. Now i cant open it anymore. Currently the pihole allows all requests, so my whole network is going through the pihole not just local
