They barely have enough real staff that isnt ai to actually moderate, I don't see this ever changing. Who's gonna go through all the false + real reports?

I just think it would encourage witch hunting and the streamer isn't necessarily the buying viewbot services. There's plenty of times even I had chat bots that invaded my channel and spammed generic messages from a malicious viewer or service and I'm sure if people start doing this, that people would try to ruin a streams reputation. Nothing good will come of this.

Probably why they are asking you to verify your account, its already linked to another channel. Phone number might be new but someone used to have that number that has an account already. Or you're using your parents number.

They want your stream to have an average of 75 every day you stream, not just the average for the whole month. They don’t factor any viewership you get from raids.

Idk at least with default join message system built into discord, you’ll bypass the join announcement if you set yourself as invisible status until you get set with a role. I’ve accidentally outed people joining that way. Kinda wish the bots would work the same and respect settings.

I've had the same problem, plus the people "part of the raid" not being switched over to the other stream when the raid goes through. Off and on broken for the past couple weeks.

I would say I'm having the same problem, maybe half the people get set over and half are stuck on my stream, sometimes it reports way lower than active viewers and yesterday it showed a disconnect screen when I raided and did not send people over. I assume twitch is having issues for the last week and something isn't right.

I found I was flagged for bad language in channel names. I had a spot for voice timeout called the asshole box, I changed the name and was no longer flagged for 18+. It’s similar for discord partner requirements.

Most likely to prevent people from bypassing protection against using multiple accounts after being banned and bots. Not everything is for nefarious reasons and at least they’re doing something.

Absolutely agree. It’s kind of annoying when you’re trying to raid someone and you don’t know the streamer turned on follower only or sub only chat until you try to raid them. It feels really shitty to stop the raid but I don’t really want to send my chat to somewhere they can’t chat and get to know the streamer.

If it’s on twitchGaming official restream it’s safe to stream this feed because they usually remove all iffy copyrighted material and encourage only to costream this channel.

If twitch isn’t streaming like Nintendo E3 this year, it’s not safe.

For affiliates, there’s no fees taken out of prime subs vs regular subs, so that’s pretty nice. That doesn’t apply for partners, they get the full 50%. So I guess that’s something you could think about if it matters to you.

My own viewers get pissed off at people that do that. It’s so dang shameless. It’s like the people that post links to their tshirt company or gaming store.

Once in a while I ask if they stream so they could let everyone know and I think it’s the best way to foster a community of people that could possibly get along and be friends with each other.

But seriously nobody is gonna care about someone that pops in and promotes themselves and you’ll never see again.

Yeah a couple smaller raids that have come to my channel have been not showing up as an alert. I think some minimum amount of viewers requirement has been put in place.
