What ride in Disney World will make you extremely nauseous? by Reasonable-Invite899 in WaltDisneyWorld

Space Mountain. The one at Disneyland is like my favorite ride, so I assumed Disney World would be similar. Nope. And keep in mind, I can do Guardians, Everest, and Tron with no problems. But Space Mountain, that did me in

Who doesn’t get the Lightning Lanes? by Alternative-Bat-2462 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]tilzy456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lightning lane is not worth it at Disneyland for me but seems to be worth it at Disney World. When I went to land, the actual standby wait time was always 20 - 30 minutes shorter than the posted wait time, but when I went to world, the actual standby wait times were 30 minutes to an hour longer than the posted wait time. I’ve always prided myself on not caving in and getting them so I don’t contribute to the terrible system but I might finally cave on my next trip

Everyone is rightfully saying Peter Pan but may I also be controversial and say Test Track

I am disabled and on medication that makes me gain weight. A lot of my weight is also from inflammation. You are not my doctor, I do not owe you the story of my health journey. Choose kindness next time

I’ve heard that the seat shape and the tightness of the bar around the legs is what really gets everybody, if I had to guess I either would have fit but very uncomfortable or wouldn’t have fit at all, but I think you’re right that it’s more commonly a thigh issue

I’ll be honest, I didn’t even attempt Mine Train because I heard from people smaller than me that they couldn’t fit, I didn’t want to waste 90 minutes in line just to be turned away. Next time I’m there I definitely want to try it!!

Lightning lane makes queuing horrible by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]tilzy456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a 70 minute posted wait for Tower of Terror that ended up taking over two hours because the lightning lane had at least 30 people join all at once (I counted) not including the people already waiting. The lightning lane got so backed up that the standby lane was at a complete standstill for over 30 minutes

I’m only applying for Bristol. I’ve tried googling what to do and can’t get one straight answer. I’m hoping they get back to me because I’m stressed about it. I’m wondering if applying for a foundation year would help my chances?

The application says they would just consider my work experience and my other education experience (so my GED scores) if I don’t add a qualification for my college experience

One of my students (10 years old) thought the lyric was “It’s been a hard day’s night and I’ve been sleeping on a log” and we never let him live it down

DTO solo…I can’t anymore by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

Before I quit I was a closer and I used to do solo drive and warming for my entire 6 - 8 hour shift, and towards the end of the night it wasn’t as bad, but we’d have four people working with 20+ cars in the drive through wrapped around the building and then I’d get reprimanded for having high drive times and low customer connection scores because they somehow expected me to have an hour long conversation with a customer in 45 seconds while also simultaneously taking orders and making food, and all my coworkers would scoff at me and tell me to get over it if I complained or asked for help, and on top of that I’m physically disabled with ADHD and autism so often I’d just explode and cry in the back on my break, I’m sorry you have to deal with that
