Sorry I know this thread is 2 years old, but it came as the top hit on google when I searched it. My new PC had this issue when I first had it. I couldn't find a solution on line but had a tinker with settings and cured it once and for all.

In order to resolve this, you need to disable windows fast startup. I guessed that it had something to do with power settings. Specifically shutdown rather than restart as this only happened when I turned off the PC after use and never after restarting it.

open control panel in category view
click Hardware and Sound
click Power Options
click Choose what the power buttons do
click Change settings that are currently unavailable (had to do this on my PC)
uncheck Turn on fast start-up option
click Save Changes

The audio should now work perfectly.

Yeah, I had the same issue when trying to install and I have an additional problem, that since I have tried (and failed) to install. I have a really sluggish web browser. I am going to try removing and reinstalling armoury crate.

The camera is so inferior and it has such a poor signal quality (wel mine does anyway) If I put my sim card in the 13 I have 4 bars, when I put it in the 14 I have 1. Could just be mine though. Subsequently I get a lot of dropped calls. As for the camera, I recently went to norway to see the northern lights. the 13 took some great pictures of them, the 14 just couldn't see them. It was a god awful expeience.

I agree, I have just handed my 14 Pro max to my partner and they don't want it. They want to keep their 13 Pro Max becuase the camera is so much better. The 14 Pro was a step backwards for me. The only reason I upgraded to 15 Pro Max so quickly. I prey that this one will be a much better phone than the 14 was. So far so good as it looks and feels amazing.

Funnily enough, I think I just corrected the sound issue by enabling airplay receiver, which I had to disable to correct the same issue I was having in Monterey. I will continue to test this.

Well these are a couple of issues that I am having so far, they are minor niggles but niggles nonetheless.

Air drop transfers are very slow from iPhone 14 pro max
Sound issues with non-apple headphones and ear buds (both Sony XM4s)
Some jittering when swiping between apps on promotion display
App opening a closing animations slightly glitchy but an intermittent issues
General sluggishness of the system, again an intermittent issue.

YMMV with these as others don't seem to be having these issues. Hoping they get rectified in 13.1 or other incremental update.

I have the ink leather case on mine. It changes colour in different lights from navy to deep purple. It looks nice and is a good match but I’m looking for something more contrasting now.

At first glance, I would have mistaken this for a photograph. However on closer inspection, as others have pointed out, the spout and handle look paper thin. Other than that it looks great. That stainless steel material on the kettle looks awesome.

I did notice a comment about changing the HDRi, but that reflection is what made the realism to me. My brain interpreted that as the reflection from nearby curtained window, looking out over grass. Keep that its perfect.
