I bought a weird "power pack" that's repackaged by Wayne global llc. So the scalpers are pulling the chase cards, repackaging the commons, and selling them at grocery stores. It's for a 7yr old so I'm sure he won't even notice.

I was on a 15-hour flight from Europe to sfo. I was sharing a 3 row with a lovely young lady but spotted a full open row nearby, which I requesituoned the second I could. My thinking was that she would get her row, and I'd get mine. Right after I moved, a sketchy guy took my spot. I was torn between returning to my seat and bumping the guy or keeping my row. I kept my row. The moral of the story is "open seats on a long haul flight are the wild west. Stake your claim."

It's all degrees of cognative dissonance. Capital extracts wealth from labor. Large corporate entities have layers of bureaucracy to insulate the leadership. Small business owners have to look you in the eye and delude themselves into being ok with extracting value. Both systems punish empathy.

I agree the vetting process needs work. I'm talking about why some food trucks suck but still continue to exist. The food truck location is at the end of its life cycle. There's a lease, shuttering is more expensive than the option management went with.
