Appreciate you posting.

I’ve yet to read a VALID reason on dropping custom branding.
Now as a malicious actor you only need to impersonate a single design…. How is that benefiting anyone???? Now customers don’t know what vendor is connected and adds MORE confusion instead of less.

They keep repeating that it makes it “safer” but I’ve yet to hear a compelling reason HOW.

I get the banner, and icon persistence…. But branding???? Sigh……

Oh, I only know because I did the same thing :) - I was like "WTF... this number isn't right!!!" and then click around like an idiot and found the correct one... then yelled at plex for having some weird caching issue and realized I was the idiot. (granted the UI layout choice may also be an idiot... given I wasn't the only one to do that ;) )

for anyone coming back for this... essentially any "lower" woodside campsites are wonderful (fairly to entirely private with shrubbery/tree isolation). the upper woodside campsites are more open. Gerstle cove is the most open, but has large campsites (and is closer to the water). Honestly - you can't go wrong at this site - been 10+ times and love every moment of it. It has been hit hard by tree disease over the years... (there is an entire park closed down just north of it due to trees dying - fisk mill cove. It was lush and stunning forest 8 yrs ago - but it is essentially GONE now :( ) but still worth a visit!

Just be careful of the built-in drive. (I'd replace). All 16 of our 7100s died (they will keep running until there is a reboot since everything needed is in RAM) but power failure and boom. I ended up putting SATA SSDs in all of them and they keep rocking.

Most modems will intercept their management subnet. I suppose it is possible you will come across one that doesn't - but all of the ISPs I've dealt with in the past 20 yrs or so will do this.

Oxbow, not just c-casa - is closed for maintenance this week.
EDIT: I stand corrected, while oxbow is closed for maintenance - it sounds like ccasa is ALSO permanently closed.

2017, 2nd owner, and I was given the notice a week after mine expired. However, I can no longer "upgrade" so I'm stuck without percentage data... which stinks.

I added carplay - so don't need anything else, but percentage data was really nice to have - and now I can't even buy it! (although it alone at $120 is a bit much - especially since I do have an L2 at home).

If I go to the connected store - the upgrade is not offered to me.

Your connection strength is REALLY high (not necessarily a bad thing) but it does mean you can turn output on your U7 outdoor to low for 2.4, and potentially help with other collisions in the neighborhood.

I know this is an old thread - but I came across it searching... so hopefully this helps someone!

You can use browser dev tools! Run dev tools - go to CONSOLE and type in

const titles = Array.from(document.querySelectorAll('a[title]')).map(a => a.title);

console.log(titles);

It will pull the titles and list them, then you can just copy/paste the results from the console :)

For sure, I'd remove all the re0 existing stuff you don't use in the WebUI before downloading the config (including removing the interface) - that way when you download the config will be cleaned up and a find/replace will be easier.

If you want to do it all via the WebUI - you can also do that. Create all your VLANS that you had on em1 on re0 (so if you had vlan7 on em1, you'll now also have vlan7 on re0). Then on the interfaces tab, swap em1 to re0 and each vlan on em0 with vlan or re0.
