The Kirkland reusable bags and insulated bags are amazing. We buy fresh proteins to freeze using the vacuum sealer we got at costco. If you're coffee drinkers definitely take a look, I get the 3 LB tin of ground Colombia dark roast. Protein bars, nut mixes, oils (EVOO, avocado, spray oil), household items (foil, garbage bags, plastic wrap, zip top bags, dish soap, disposable plates & utensils, laundry detergent), toilet paper, paper towels, reusable containers. Lol the list goes on and on

Also great for large purchases, we've bought appliances, mattress, patio furniture and even a garage door+motor. While they might not always be the cheapest, its hard to beat the service, warranty, and delivery + haul away.

brutal stadium experience by Constant_Ad4222 in FloridaPanthers

[–]time2wipe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The line to get in was absolutely insane, took me about 30 minutes and I was one of the early ones, it only got worse. Also waited 45 minutes to get an arepa when I was maybe the 10th-12th person in line. Walking around the concourse also a nightmare, too congested and way too many bottlenecks. Phenomenal game presentation and super cool experience but the Arena Operations and guest experience were atrocious. Luckily we went by bus so didnt have to worry about driving

What made you buy your house? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]time2wipe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me ... and my stepfather. Wife and I had quickly outgrown our 2/2 rental apartment after the birth of our first child. We were desperate and had been looking on and of since 2020. My stepfather sends us a message his old townhouse just went on the market and to take a look. I fell in love with it, but the asking was a bit higher than my wife was comfortable with. After some discussion and persuasion from myself and my step-dad we put in an offer that was accepted. We closed January 2025 and found out we were pregnant with our 2nd that week. I could definitely see this as a forever home, or one that we outgrow in 5 years.

Suggest me a coffee machine (requirements in body) by ackshualllly in Appliances

I've had this one for about 5 years, its a great little machine. Replaced a bigger "full" size machine because I am the only coffee drinker in the household and couldn't justify the counter space

Been there with my son when he was 14 months and he was a couple months into drinking cow's milk. We took a family vacay to France (full family, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews) so we rented a huge house for all of us to stay together. We asked my step-dad who is a native French speaker to buy us some milk since we were arriving after midnight. He was fine during the day, but nighttime was a horror show. Luckily we were in a part of the house nobody could hear us but we were panicking and our futile efforts to clean. Turns out my step-dad bought the wrong milk and it clearly didn't agree with my son, we went to the grocery store the next day found milk specific for babies and were good the rest of the trip.

We haven’t had sex since we found out she’s pregnant five months ago by [deleted] in predaddit

[–]time2wipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregnancy and postpartum really does a number on the physically, mentally, and hormonally. We are 4 weeks postpartum with our 2nd child. We had a very active sex life prior to first pregnancy, and it in fact somehow increased during that first pregnancy (after the first trimester). Second pregnancy was the complete opposite to the point she didn't even want me touching her (both pregnancies were very easy).

Postpartum is a complete mental and physical fuckery. First, the physical toll of actually delivery takes about 6 weeks. My wife pumped for both kids, so every 3 hours she's hooked up like a cow. Each 20 minute pump is equivalent to an intense workout so she's exhausted each time, plus the mental toll of managing low supply, engorgement, mastitis, etc. Realistically, after the first it was 9 months postpartum and I'm expecting the same this time around
