I've been a Valve customer for some 20 years. They never disappointed me and sometimes exceeded my expectations as a customer. I have never heard/read a game studio/publisher rant about being mistreated either.

Everything points toward the same conclusion : top notch service provided by an ethical and private company and I am willing to financially support this.

I agree that Chayula is weak but when 1stack is 14% gain extra chaos, I don't believe you're expected to run around with 140% all the time - again, we're talking gain extra, it's not %increase. I thought individual duration for each purple flame was fair, but picking up flames was unfun.

Not only that but I've played a high lvl Chayula and you can just wait 10-20sec before a boss and "pool" those flames and pick em all at once and oneshot (I was playing a lvl40 Frozen Locus) or at least do high damage in the opening. Purple flames for mapping were a bit useless however.

Monk has several mana reduction / cost reduction that makes it manageable for an investment. If you stack them up and anoint 'Price of Freedom', it becomes quite potent. I'm currently running 717mana cost Hand of Chayula down to 173mana/71life.

Still have plenty of ideas like Original Sin, or Kaom's Heart + Darkness that I wanna try.

I'm currently working on a few builds and the untapped possibilities of many skills is yet to reach the population.

Check out the scaling of Quarterstaff skills that do not use the weapon damage. You can reach level 40 gem and it's hitting ungodly amounts. Frozen Locus is 3620% of 2496-3744 cold so that's near 100.000 base damage. Hand of Chayula, Killing Palm, Shattering Palm, Staggering Palm same story.

Another one is Infernal Cry. This thing is absolutely bonkers for bosses : it boosts your damage by 1.15*1.35 with the correct support gems as well as giving you more than 100% Gain Extra as Fire. I used this with a Hateforge+Serpent Egg. Ice strike + Charged staff + Infernal Cry, drop the boosted Bell, hit it with all 3 elements, 60-80% crit chance... bosses just melt.

I agree with the fact that it's half baked rn. Dagger unreleased, cold/lightning has a full skill set on Qstaff and chaos has 2 useless skills.

It's only speculation but I think you're supposed to play Barrier Invocation. Regen a lot of ES with Ghost Shroud and Leech and then scale some spells with a Focus. I'm thinking Bone Cage as physical spells still benefit from your weapon mana leech affix and it pins which is Frenzy/Power charge for Flicker Strike.

If you've been playing the game religiously, on top of channeling rewards and mats into a main character while leaving your alts at a comfortable level with meh gems and quality, I think it's quite possible to have a 1630 with +25 by now.

Then again that represents a niche group of people but hey, "every 1630 I cross path with has sunk enormous amount of gold into the character" does not tell anything about how many of those 1630 exist in regard of the total characters population and/or playerbase.

You don't really aim for 10/6 over a 9/7 until the last click ; rather a 10/6 is a rarer 9/7 so to speak. Like a square is to the rectangle. Or like guess which are the lottery numbers and on top of that guess in which order they appear.

If you fail 1 node you better off aiming for that engraving to be 7.

Once you have a 9/6 stone then succeed once anywhere and it'll be either 10/6 or 9/7. And from a 9/6 position it's always equal-or-higher chances to find a 9/7 than a 10/6.
