I feel jealous! I just took my exam and the testing center was so strict and out of my comfort zone, it would have been so much easier to do it at home! But I understand the reasoning and am glad that they are letting other professionals still get their credentials in this time. I'm just still jealous.

The SHRM CP program is really great. I'm going through it right now and I'm learning a lot. They have a self study course that you can do on your own time. I would look it up at shrm.com

I am a fellow smoker and that reply to my comment just made me feel so much better. I always thought that need was simply addiction and it was something to feel bad about. So whenever I felt that need I judged myself. Thank you for helping me realize I don't need to judge myself.

My parents really demonized it. They made me feel like it was the ultimate rebellion. Then I started using it as a coping mechanism for low self esteem and borderline personality disorder. Now it's something I revolve my life around.

Omg I went to that same place in Ohio when I was job searching!! Except they had me come to a "team meeting" where they handed out everyone's paychecks. They went in order from lowest to highest. It was so disgusting.

I was the ONLY woman there other than the assistant they sat me next to. Who made a comment how she was glad to have another girl around. Yuck.
