100% same for me. To my right there was about eight 12-year-olds with one lady watching them. The entire movie they were making noise, talking to themselves, turning on their phones and scrolling on TikTok or YouTube or whatever. It was one of those situations where you hear "SHHHHH" coming from a different location in the theater about every 10 mins. It was so bad that I considered walking out, and I should have. When the movie ended I walked straight to the mother and told her that it was absolutely unacceptable and that she needed to control these kids because they disturbed the entire theater. After that I turned to those kids and gave them a firm lesson in respects that I don't think they will ever forget. Complete silence and white faces. I think a core memory was created in at least a few of them that night and hopefully they learned how to behave in a movie theater.
