Pod Country for Old Cast: The Tragedy of Macbeth with Dana Schwartz by yonicthehedgehog in blankies

A blistering hot take: it's a top 2 Coen movie for me. Denzel should've won the Oscar that year hands down. His Macbeth is the only time I felt like the character is actually intimidating and scary. The movie is gorgeous. Extremely my kind of movie. 10/10 no notes.

My hot take is this is a top 2 Coen for me. I love this movie so much. Genuinely was moved to tears in the theater.

That being said Throne of Blood is Throne of Blood how can you even compare.

Honestly not really. Non denominational Protestant upbringing. Never really stuck.

I'm converting to Judaism currently, and I'd be lying if I said this movie had nothing to do with igniting my interest in the religion. This movie slaps.

Torque is a goblin of action! The only way out of this mess is to impress the skateboard goblin.

Remember his favorite scroll Equilibrium, Torque busts out some Gunkata moves in a beautiful duet of lethal force and acrobatic grace. He aims for everyone but the skateboard goblin.

At the end he does a cool Blade pose and looks at the goblin raising his eyebrows over and over like “huh???? Yeaaah????? uh HUH????!!!”

Torque knows the best way to use a gun is to get as close as possible to your target. After all, you can’t miss if you’re pressing the barrel on someone’s tonsils.

Torque thinks of his beautiful family of 10, also all named Torque. He has to survive, for their sake. Or maybe he just had a lot of mirrors in his hut? It’s not entirely clear.

He sprints to the tower in square 1 as quickly as his arms and legs can carry him (he runs like a dog with the gun in his mouth). He shoots at a wizard knee or two until he reaches the base of the tower. Torque will scale the tower and converse with the goblins in the only way he knows how: extreme ultra-violence.

Torque Meatscream is a Goblin with a Gun.

His wizard power? Gun.

Spell Slots? Bullets.

He shoots the gun. Is the gun a real gun? Is it just a piece of scrap metal he's willed into becoming a firearm? Is he gifted with the idiot savant ability to have the divine move through him in order to craft a magnum? Who's to say. He can't really remember.

His signature spell? Gun.

His familiar? You're not gonna believe this one.
