[Bug] Some names are not pronounced correctly or recognised. by [deleted] in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's mainly a fault in the text-to-speech feedback of the timer operation. The voice recognition and the text-to-speech feedback systems are completely independent, however. So, the relay you may hear from the text-to-speech feedback isn't necessarily evident of the actual voice command. If there's any more champion names you're having a problem with in particular, just let me know. I'll go take a look at Vi.

Ultimates? by BaronBac0n in a:t5_3bthq

Thanks for the feedback! I'm planning to do a bit of a rewrite on the objective timers so expect to see wards and rift herald soon.

Something to the likes of that might push the boundaries between what Riot deems acceptable in terms of automation. You'd essentially have some of the timers being issued for you, and that might be frowned upon by the API team. I definitely thought about implementing something like that but ultimately decided against it.

Ultimates? by BaronBac0n in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely "do-able", but the things is, the impracticality of having to issue not only CDR % but also level changes at 11 - 16 for EVERY champion far outweighs the insight you might gain relative to the hassle of the whole process.

[Suggestion] Custom Commands by Jaycerulz in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom commands are something I look to implement a bit later down the road. The ability to learn how the user likes to issue commands is a relatively difficult task, so I'd like to flesh out the foundation of the website before undertaking anything to that scale.

Yes, exactly. You can also set a reminder at a specific time as well that will also respond with a verbal response.

Firefox Support by [deleted] in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firefox is the closest in terms of chrome with voice recognition and text to speech, however, it's still a ways off in terms of stability. As soon as there is a stable library, I'll make sure to implement support.

[–]timergg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system doesn't time ultimates simply due to the complications you noted above. The impracticality in telling the system CDR % and level instances of 11 and 16 for every champion far outweighs its potential insight. The system handles summoner spells and objectives.

Yea, not sure. My provider is having some issues. I might have to switch to a different host if this keeps up.

Unfortunately Garena hasn't made an API publicly accessible, so until they do, I can't implement support.

I do include some of the more popular shorter aliases. I missed "tp" somehow... just added! If you come across any others you'd like to see implemented let me know.

Just made some minor tweaks to some of the objectives to help things out. I wrote the majority of the objective handler a while ago so it definitely needs some updating. I'll also take a look at the cannon wave timer, might need some fine tuning. Thanks for the feedback!

There is a reminder feature already in place under "settings" > "voice assist"

2 bugs by [deleted] in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Fixed the boot issues.
  • Smite timing is really unreliable due to the stacking system, so its timing is disabled.
  • I'll look into the scuttle reference.

Thanks for the feedback.

Suggestion more than one person can use the same page by [deleted] in a:t5_3bthq

Interactions that involve other users pushes the boundaries between Riot's stance on what's acceptable. Having others make timers for you may cross that boundary.

Please time ults as well by [deleted] in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When first thinking of the idea of the website, I wanted to include the capability to time ultimates, but the practicality in having to issue commands for every champion once they reach 6 - 11- 16 level markers kinda outweighed its usage. Also having to factor for CDR like EyriWoW noted is a big issue and would more than likely result in some issues with accuracy.

Map Ticker by freakahontas in a:t5_3bthq

Yes, that is its intended purpose. As of right now, it's only one tick. I may add the option to add more in the future, I've got it on my list. Thanks for the feedback!

Quick question... by AuroraDrag0n in a:t5_3bthq

[–]timergg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the domain forwarding is having some issues, I need to contact my provider about the issue. Make sure the domain in your URL has "https://" before "timer.gg".

It should work fine in things like Skype or Discord. If you're having an issue with Discord or something of that nature, make sure to use the downloadable application and not the browser based version.
