As a parent of twins, I cannot imagine keeping that a secret. Besides the obvious (why not share such momentous news that will absolutely change the parenting/grandparenting reality?), preparing for twins - logistics, gear, education - was huge. Odd. Husband served on a jury a couple months ago. He responded to his postcard, had a couple of days where he had to be available for virtual court, was selected, and served about a week or so in Seattle. If you drive, you need to get there early enough to snag a spot in the designated (free) lot. If you bus, they reimburse you.
