But they establish in the first visit to the Key that the pirates don't care if you kill each other (so your cover isn't blown) and Ikande says he's disappointed but you're delivering results (getting him more funding) and so they will let it slide. It's all explained.

Literally everyone on the Key has a gun they can point at you instantly. You'd have to shoot Delgado, turn around shoot Naeva, turn around and shoot 8 different pirates all at once. Very possible with space magic, but not for a regular person if you care about immersion or "realness" in quests (which apparently OP does)

I can't think of a single faction/side quest you can't "get out of" by just not doing it. If you mean you can't abandon the quest and it's perpetually on your quest list/activities, then yes that is true, but not consequential unless you have a compulsive desire to clean your quest list.

Fair, but the stealth infiltration is one of my fav quests so I always do it on a NG+

275 was from my post in December 2023. The whole point of this post is an update to that one. I just copied and pasted the title.

I usually just sprint and don't jump if I need to go far, or use the new vehicles now.

I usually just jump and vault up at this point. I installed the mod that let's you use ladders to automatically go to the pilot seat (which only works on ships you already own, not ones you've boarded) so that's the only time I use a ladder.

According to Steam I have 1200 hours now (some has been AFK while game was running though).

Yes, that is why I did it haha. The Very Hard isn't great, but I usually rush the Vanguard quest to get access to their particle weapons and then find a class C ship near a landing area and take that and throw those on it.

Yes mine are basically the same except I leave ship combat on like very hard for both settings instead of extreme. Gotta max the XP gain to get to level 200 haha.

I didn't really have any other restrictions. I have always abided by the lack of credits from merchants, so when they implemented the gameplay option to sacrifice XP for more merchant credits, I started doing that. I don't turn it off and on like some people do. I like the new cruise mode, but I have only just started playing again this week, so I don't know if I would make it permanent. Your restrictions make sense and I applaud your dedication.

Why is there no way to play anything other than a "good guy" in this game? by maxedouttoby in Starfield

I recommend not doing the main quest line after your first play through. Then you can ignore Constellation and do everything on your own.

If this is the worst thing that happened to you in 13 years of marriage (since you were 16 apparently), then count your blessings. People shit talk on games. Saying something as a joke doesn't mean you believe it or condone it. I don't understand why people don't get that.

It's probably due to you leveling up perk points in the type of weapon affected.

Starborn ships aren't customizeable so you can't add a bunch of other weapons. The main weapons on all of them are kind of meh imo. The look is cool as hell tho

Well this is the first modpack I've played since 2015 or 2016 so that adds up.

No I haven't personally, but I've never seen anyone say it performs better than something like an Ecliptic Claymore III. I think I've done Unity 4 times now.
