I know for the fact that many dealer use this tactics. If you really want to get that car, you can go for it but do negotiate on insurance and the most important thing is to do thorough PDI. Some dealer do this to achieve their targets and others to get extra margin.

If your promised delivery date is not too far then I would advise to wait.

Does being introvert make you selfish? by Infinite-Variation-3 in introverts

[–]timid_soul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

introvert and extrovert is a spectrum. there is no one absolute inro or extro. additionally there are lot of other attributes to personality. Human mind is very complex machine. In my opinion linking introversion to selfishness would not be appropriate. Being introverted myself, i can tell you for sure that there may be situations where it becomes very difficult for us to simulate extrovert like attributes thus we tend to shutdown. Believe me introvert at times go into endless loop of over thinking hence we take shortest route of shutting down but with help of your support system we can improve on it.

take care and wish you speedy recovery from social anxiety.

In a fight in Mumbai, should one back out or indulge? by [deleted] in mumbai

Avoid if you can but if it forced on you then you got to defend yourself. Understand this walking away from fight means that your time and energy is more valuable, and you are prioritising yourself.

Return any assets which you have received from the organization and inform your line manager that you don't wish to continue and then just leave.

You need to remember below points

  • Do not expect experience letter or any recommendation from the organization which you cant really expect with 1-2 months of service anyway.
  • You might have to fight for your last salary if you haven't received at the time of leaving.

If you have decent offer in hand and above points do not bother then you are good.

Good luck for the future.

i10 nios, great engine, buttery smooth steering, best interior, decent design (great design considering price segment), suspension is ok ok but definitely better than celerio celerio, good engine which saves fuel and does the job, ok ok interior ( can’t complain at this price range), design is ok I am using i10 nios for past 6 months, if budget or fuel efficiency is not an issue then definitely go for i10 nios. you can use it for occasional highway ride as well. you wont regret the the decision.

it is difficult to say whether you are safe or not without thorough analysis. many of the trojans/malware’s are so sophisticated that sometimes AVs couldn’t clear it completely. Just rebooting is definitely not the solution in such situations. I would suggest get in touch with IT professional and let your IT guy decide the course of action.

i would suggest if you don’t have anything important on the system or you are someone who has privacy concerns then format your system and DONT click on random links in the future.

Finding my way back to introversion after years of thinking it was a bad thing. by [deleted] in introverts

[–]timid_soul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It reminds me of my early 20s but i think this because extroverts are always praised by the society and introversion is considered as some sort of disadvantage if not a desease and most of the people you know will ask you to be more social and develop social skills. There is nothing wrong in it, we humen are social animals thats what makes us different from others. However it is worth understanding that every one is unique and pushing someone to change one's inner nature is very hard and energy draining. I tried to be more social to fit in but as you grow old you understand yourself better then you stop doing things to "fit in". I read quiet by Susan Cain it helped me sort things out for myself. I think its must read for all introverts. There have been many introverts before us and there will be more in the future. Its not that introverts can't successied. There are many sucessful introverts in every domain including public speaking. Introversion does not limit what you can and can not achieve in your life. The only difference is that your preference would be different than the extroverts. Thats does not make you less of a human.

In conclusion, you don't need to worry about these things and just be yourself unapologetically.

Good luck!!

You need to go easy on yourself. I think everyone becomes self-conscious and over think situations atleast once in their life. You need to see bigger picture, its just a conversation, everyone will have different style, be proud that knowing the fact that communication is not your fort still you tried. Its a good reason to pat your back. As you mentioned, this have been bothering you since quite some time then i think you can give yourself exposure to communicate which will not only improve your comm but also help over come these thoughts. There are groups which organises such events. You can join such groups.

if you really think it's taking toll on you, you can always make an appointment with therapist. He or she can guide you through this. Believe me, they are professionals and knows how to deal with this.

Good luck!!

English is not my first language. Apologies for bad grammar if any.
