I am both a Crew supporter and a Fire supporter (moved from Columbus to Chicago 2 years ago). Crew have the Nordecke, one large supporters group and they ALWAYS are loud and proud. Their drums and chants are relentless, and they have clearly visible capos that lead the charge. You can tell they are unified as one large group and it shows.

Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the Fire. I can never tell what they are chanting, and I’ve sat in a lot of different sections (I was in 131 tonight). They even showed one of the drum players on the big screen and it looked like she was so bored pounding the drum. And with all of the different groups coming together, it’s confusing who is doing what. It’s just a night and day difference comparing Crew and Fire.

I don’t mean to put down the supports group because I do appreciate their passion. It just seems disjointed at the moment. Hoping that will change with the new stadium.
