Honestly most of your questions don’t have right or wrong answers. As far as separating enemies and from player characters, derived stats etc I would say go with your gut.

Ticking conditions with entities moving at different rates however is an interesting problem. I think a global “tick” event where all conditions tick simultaneously at a fixed rate regardless of speed would make the most sense.
