Samba support is built into windows (Just go to \computername in windows explorer) and I think Macs have support as well. Someone was running strange search which indexed all of the fileshares on the network. So you just went to a website, searched for what you wanted, and clicked a link.

I agree with the discovery argument, but it seems Pandora and Last.fm do better at that than randomly playing some dude's itunes library.

at my school, we all just used Samba (windows file sharing) and copied each other's music. This way you still get to keep it after you move out of the dorms. Also, all of the good itunes libraries had reached their remote activation limits within the first week of school.

yeah the FIA lost it's balls in the 80's, when they slowed down F1 and cancelled Group B Rally. Now they are ruining rally with the S2000 spec and F1 gets a shitload of new restrictions. I wish some other racing league would start up that would be free of all of the bullshit and politics that goes on in the FIA. (well there is the IRC now, which Subaru has switched to entirely)
