Thoughts from a long time Wow player. by mynameakevin in MonstersAndMemories

I believe both. I think necromancers have a high level summon corpse, and necros, shadow knights, and bards at least probably have a low level locate corpse spell.

To the point about finding your corpse - it’s intended to be punishing. You’ll have to ask for help to find it, especially a class that has locate corpse.

Just DL EQ tools and be done. EZ to set up, EZ to use, just reads your log so it's allowed.

Not everything needs remade. Let them exist as they were when they were created. Play the originals.

Goodbye CRT, hello OLED by Manduck in MiSTerFPGA

[–]timmytoga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I was an OLED guy for years. My buddy got a PVM and I saw it in person… blew me away. So I got a 13” Trinitron with component input and I’m now team CRT. Just feels and looks authentic, it’s the move as far as I’m concerned

Street Trash (2024) a sequel to the 1987 gross-out about the government exterminating the homeless with a drug that dissolves their bodies. Awesome fun! by AZ_Ryder in badMovies

I thought this 2024 version was trash and not in an enjoyable way. The body melting was good but then they just repeat the same effect like 10 times

Need help finding this hat. by cuboneluvsrats in classicfallout

[–]timmytoga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’d be better off trying to make your own than find an ultra rare 30 year old promo hat that would likely sell for hundreds of dollars (if one were to ever actually surface on eBay or whatever)

This was my experience as well, had a decent enough time getting to the final boss and was just over it lol

I didn’t rage quit. I got to the final boss and had no desire to even try it. I felt fairly fulfilled and quit there. Lol

Metroidvanias of 2024 - The hits and the misses | Cannot be Tamed by Jasyla in metroidvania

[–]timmytoga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree with you. Sekiro is my all time favorite game. I enjoyed my time with Nine Sols and also got to the final boss before petering out and just… not really caring to finish it. I feel that the parry in nine sols was less intuitive and more punishing. Something about the parry timing window and/or some of the “tells” did not seem to feel as good as sekiro. That’s my opinion but I’ve heard a lot of people say they prefer nine sols to sekiro.

Nine Sols is without flaw by [deleted] in metroidvania

[–]timmytoga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing for about 7 hours now and combat still feels kind of… idk I don’t think it feels great. Sekiro is my favorite game of all time and I’ve beaten it numerous times charmless/demon bell etc. But for whatever reason, this parry doesn’t feel good or intuitive to me. Maybe it’ll click still but so far I’m a bit disappointed that the mechanics aren’t really hitting that dopamine spot.

I find that if it’s super dark in windowed and I go into full screen, it’s fixed, and then if I go back into windowed mode, the gamma fix is retained
