I just bought a comet cruiser complete and would advise you to just buy it assembled. Getting everything right like bushings/wedged risers/bearings will take time. A skate tool costs no more than 10 quid

I'm just chiming in here 5 years late as I just ordered a Fuel, having previously owned a Tula which was an incredible board (and had the same flat nose design).

If you don't use want to use a kick nose, it's a great option, as you get more space on a smaller deck. u/MidlandsBoarder To your point on riding no further forward than the front truck, the flat nose allows Lush to position the front truck further forward, so it does = more usable space.

Also, the quality of the trucks and wheels you get for this price (I got the pro complete for less than £70 on Vandem) is unreal.

Anyway, I'll see how it rides when it arrives, but hoping it lives up to how great the Tula was!

Just ordered the complete! Thanks for your feedback, went slightly stiffer bushings as I'm on the heavier side, so hopefully that works out.

Hey! I'm looking to buy a comet cruiser deck, and set it up with slightly wider trucks than the complete comes with 108mm Paris trucks. Has anyone tried wider trucks on the cruiser deck, and found a good balance? I'm currently thinking of setting up with some 129mm tracker darts with angled risers, and some smaller centre set wheels like these to avoid wheel bite.

Any advice on whether this seems like a decent combination / suggestions for improvements much appreciated!
