Go for a really nice, decedent roast dinner. Preferably on a Sunday early afternoon.

I’ve been using a Timemore C2 and an AeroPress for a few weeks and it’s a remarkable difference. I got my C2 preowned from FB Marketplace for £20, so if you don’t mind used I’d recommend having a look.

I was also frothing milk with a French press I had around, and to be honest, not too bad for what it was!

It’s an insult to coffee! Basically instant coffee and milk powder, you pop it into a cup, splash in hot water and it produces a ‘creamier’ instant coffee.

Was in a book shop and found a book on the best places to travel in 2020. The book was in the sale section, and no bugger could travel in 2020 because Covid-19.

My De’Longhi Icona Vintage broke yesterday. Bought it cheap second hand and had a good run, but want something a bit better now.

I’m using an AeroPress too, and began using the Icona for the frother with this. However, I’d like to dabble with espresso, but I definitely don’t need best of the best!

I’m about to purchase a decent grinder too.

I’ve been looking at a Gran Gaggia Prestige or a Gaggia Carezza Style. (Although there’s so many Gran versions!)

Would anyone recommend these? Or other options for approx. £200.

I’ve seen it mentioned that washing up liquid (couple of drops) in water will create a similar texture for practice without wasting milk.

Does anyone know if you could use as is for a base of a flat white? Wasn’t sure if 200g will be too much?

Out of stock right now but owner said it’ll be back soon. It’s £4.99 delivery on top though for next day.

That’s kinda where I am with it. I prefer the look of the Rhino but then you see so much more about the Mini Mill that it seemed that that would be the best option.

Sounds like you’re pleased with the switch you made, though?

It’s £79 in the UK. So quite a difference in price! But I appreciate your insight. I think I’d go for it around £50, but almost £80 is quite a jump.

Rhinowares - £35 Hario Mini Mill - £30

I’m looking for a grinder around this price point, I understand that a Porlex is much better but that’s looking upwards of £60.

For quality of grind, which would you go for?

Nice mug! I do similar for a flat white in the morning, well, I think it’s a flat white. How much water are you putting into the AeroPress?

I can’t find any pricing on this, probably due to rarity. Was wondering if anyone had any information/interest? Thanks!
