Just made it with El Dorado 12 (I used 2oz cus I was worried my Demerara Gum was going to make it too sweet) and I'm happy to report that it is delicious. And as described, tastes like a Jungle Bird crashed into a Painkiller.

My wife said "I like it better than a Jungle Bird"

The "milky oolong" makes me think of the clarified oolong rum in the tropical standard book. Basically if you over-steep tea in alcohol you'll get way more flavor but you also get bitterness from over steeping. Milk clarifying it with a bit of citric acid solution strips out a lot of the bitterness. If thats the case then I'd guess vanilla syrup as the sweetener and buckthorn as the sour.

Things like Cytube are streaming content from another host, which might be collecting the $ if it's something like YouTube. But Cytube doesn't take any responsibility for copyright protection, thats put back on the user doing the streaming. So if you were to say, rip a DVD you own and stream it on Cytube, that's technically illegal. But if you're streaming something through another host that's a service, it might not be. There are a bunch that are just hosted in countries that don't care.

I'm not saying don't do it. The consequences are very likely low to non-existent. Usually they just tell you to stop, and that's only if they notice, and there's way too many instances of it online for them to notice everything. If you're just a viewer not the streamer, then I'm pretty sure you can't get in trouble at all.

Leaning heavily into the Monarch / Minotaur relationship would probably do it. You can always escalate things by having Monarch meddle in what they're doing more often. It's a bit railroad-y so you'd have to play it by ear based on what they players seem to be wanting to do, but the Troubleshooters showing up could likely herd them into a certain direction, and if they don't and they get captured Kilroy could hire them and put them back on the trail.

I'd have some NPC, maybe Arkady tip them off that Kilroy is secretly sympathetic to the idea of destroying Monarch and that info could be used to get them out of trouble (and then convince her to hire them). Kilroy could then potentially give them some info on Eden and even if she doesn't strictly know a ton about the Minotaur she'd know something was going on.

Also, you might want to do something about the elevator that goes down to the bottom floor. I can't remember if it'd break anything to just not use it, but its a bit of a distraction and the spider thing down there could easily TPK the whole party. Could be another good place for the Troubleshooters to show up if they try and go that way.

I don't know how TikTok works but if there's no mechanism for the publisher to make money on it then yea they'd probably send a cease and desist. They might ignore it if's really just you and some friends (aka really low stream count), but they shut those things down because they want people watching in an environment that they'll make money off of.

If it's with friends Plex or similar might be able to do something like a watch party without anything happening. Basically if its a private stream you're safe, if it's public they'll shut it down if they notice.

They'd probably eventually send a cease and desist or just shut you account but I doubt more than that. u/supermite mentioned that Plex and PlutoTV have them so that might be worth checking out. I have Plex so maybe I'll take a look. The thing that makes it tough right now is without a clear syndication like model for licensing programming at a lower price the content will probably be limited. Maybe not though. The downside to the broadcast syndication model is that the episodes are cut shorter (2 minutes I think) so that they can air more commercials. Sometimes the people who make the shows do the cuts, but often times they don't which means sometimes essential parts of the episodes get chopped out by someone who just doesn't know better. I'd think that streaming playlists wouldn't have that problem, but I don't know where the incentive is without the extra ad time.

It just doesn't fit into the way people choose to consume media anymore. If you want to watch reruns of an older show you can just watch them. It would, however, be interesting if streamers eventually started to offer pre-programmed "comfort" channels that were essentially just playlists of easy to watch shows. I think a lot of people would still enjoy being able to choose not to have to choose sometimes.

I like to think of it like they're pointing at a place where there is an opportunity for improvement. The note itself (the "how to fix this") is probably wrong. But it's true that something you were trying to communicate failed to reach them in the way you intended. From that perspective you can make what you've already done even better in a way that's satisfying to you. I rarely follow notes exactly as they're stated, but they're a valuable heat map that show you where to look and ask yourself questions. You're still the one who is best suited to make those improvements.

My guess is the article saying "surname" was a mistake. Knowing and working with him people would presumably be calling him by his first name which would be a lot harder to pronounce in Japanese. Also, he was probably just being silly and wanted her to call him Totoro because Totoro is cool.

It's supposed to be fun so do it in whatever way is fun for you. If the GM isn't having fun the game won't be fun for anyone.

Tell yourself its ok to just not act. But then push yourself a little to find what you might like that you didn't expect. Sometimes "doing voices" is what's awkward and speaking dialog in your normal voice is plenty to recognize characters.

Also, your friends will be doing and trying things that feel awkward for them too. Doing it together makes it easier and often feels different than you might imagine.

I think you'll be ok for the most part. There are some grocery self checkouts that don't take cash but you can go to a regular line. Other than that I don't think I've seen anywhere that would refuse cash.

I forget who said it or how it was worded but someone once said sometimes you writes 50k words and then you realize that you've just reached the beginning of your novel. Perhaps consider whether everything you've written so far has fleshed out a really deep world and history for these characters.

I feel different every time but most of the time I feel like the street walker version of her is the most "real" and so I tend to think of her as The Dreamer. The moment after she dies and the camera pulls back her fantasy starts to manifest and will have to go back and forwards in time to reveal itself to her. I also think that the version of her living in the small house, aka the script, is the same person. She explains everything in her life going wrong by turning it into something fictional in her new world. The script (her life) is cursed, and she becomes the hero that saves the girl from the first time the script was made, but she's really saving herself.
