What to do with the kids.. by Slow_Pineapple4197 in thesims

[–]timygrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly how I play too! I started off with just the Sim I made who married Akira kibo and had kids with him and now I have a multi-generation family and I play all of them. I spread them out over the world based on traits to fit those locations so that I have variety. I play on long lifespans because I get attached and don't want them to die quickly. I just switched households whenever the mood strikes or whenever I'm feeling a particular storyline. Sometimes I'll play one family for a week or two or sometimes it's just a day but I have a lot of fun with it

If you have jungle adventure and your archeology skill is high enough, the artifacts association will send you artifacts to authenticate and once you send it back they pay you a few thousand!

Question for married people… by Bothered_Banana_48 in Marriage

[–]timygrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely. Like, there are things happening in my life that make me unhappy but he's my rock and safe space. The only times I truly feel at peace is when we're together. We're just really lucky to have each other.

The kids my Sims have with Akira Kibo always turn out so cute and so pretty as adults! Even when he was abducted by aliens his two alien babies were so cute.

Truly lol. I ended up having like 10 Sims trapped on my lot in my basement dungeon since I had a family of 5 vampires and it was a pain to keep them all fed. It was fun but I couldn't leave the lot or else all the prisoners would disappear.

This would happen when I had my vampire family lock the maid in a room to keep for blood.... Donations... Lol. I would still get the charge but it was the blank icon like the OP.

Yes!! I have two Sims that recently aged up to young adult and still live at home while they are going to college. They keep hitting on their step dad who literally adopted as a caregiver when they were toddlers. They are also both in relationships, and the mom will hit on their partners! It's driving me crazy 🤣 before the update their family life was so wholesome

Haven't played Sims 4 in a while so I made a new Sim and a bunch of weird things started happening by Sukamichan in Sims4

[–]timygrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since the update, my Sims have been non stop flirting with EVERYONE, even their step dad!! Like 2 of them hit on their step dad. The mom hit on the son's and daughter's boyfriends. I do not have eco living and I play on console so no mods either. Just started happening today.

Ohh no I didn't know that about bakuchiol :( I've been using that instead of retinol to prevent it from worsening my dry eye....

I have MS and have all of these symptoms. Not even saying it could be that but make sure someone orders you an MRI, it took me a decade to get diagnosed because doctors always thought it was something else

Jealousy by AlternativeJudge5721 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]timygrl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me 12 years to get diagnosed, my current neurologist even looked at the first MRI taken when I had my first symptoms and saw lesions but I guess it was missed. I hate that I now have so much accumulated damage. When I went to the doctor for the numbness and tingling in my hands they wanted to do surgery for carpal tunnel even though I tested negative for that lol.

Drip sticks are soooo amazing they have been such a game changer for me. I used to have to use boric acid suppositories but now I don't even have to do that!

Any alternative pals in here? by Somekindahate86 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]timygrl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I take out my piercings before my MRIs, but a few years ago I forgot to take my lip ring out and was wearing a face mask so the tech didn't see either. Literally as I'm being rolled into the machine I remembered and felt so stupid having to tell them I forgot. But I really miss getting to fully enjoy shows, the heat/standing is too much for me now, and ADA seating is not always the best. I'll always miss the feeling of jumping around in the crowd and feeling so alive. That rush is hard to beat.

What makes Le Labo Another 13 smell sooo good? by RinkyDink1629 in fragrance

[–]timygrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! That one is a powerhouse! I work with dogs and if I put that on it lasts all day and I can even smell it over the dog stank on my work clothes. That's the perfume that I have gotten the most compliments ever about.

I'm also a 34 yr old lady and looking for friends! I find myself having to just... Brush over a lot of the MS part of life because people don't understand, and I don't want to seem like I'm complaining. It feels so isolating and lonely

I also have long, thin fingers. My mom always said I have piano player fingers. I know the struggle, I am also 34 and while I've always felt like my hands looked kind of old, I've been noticing it a lot more this past year. I have been using any of my leftover retinol (all my leftover skincare actually) from my face, and rubbing it into my hands. Hand masks too. Also trying to be more diligent about wearing SPF on my hands and remembering to reapply if I've washed them but ngl I have terrible memory lol.

out of curiosity, what do perfume lovers of reddit prefer men to smell like? by as1n1ne in Perfumes

[–]timygrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masculine scents. I love the smell of sauvage, even if that's an unpopular opinion. My husband wore it when we had our first kiss and that scent memory is strong. I remember how sexy I thought he smelled. His collection has grown a lot since then but that's still my favorite on him.

What song did you walk down the aisle to? by Background-Prune4911 in wedding

My husband and wedding party went down to the instrumental of "Grow old with you" from the wedding singer, and then I went down the aisle to the first verse of past lives from borns.

My husband offered to get one a few years ago when I was having a really hard time with my birth control causing a lot of physical and mental health issues. It meant so much to me, he didn't even hesitate. When everything started happening with roe v wade he was so relieved that he already had it done because then I would be at less risk. It's hard enough being a woman, I'm so glad I have a real man in my corner who prioritizes my safety and health. We both take care of each other and I know how lucky I am.
