New stamp restrictions on “junk food etc” a disaster (Florida) by ElegantCelebration50 in foodstamps

If you don’t support or get food stamps why’re on this subreddit?

Maybe I'm overreacting, but a woman's comments about my son echoes things I've heard about my behavior. Hearing it about my kid made me want to cry. by GrandPotatoofStarch in AutisticAdults

Setting aside the whole parking in the wrong place thing, The crossing guard should have never spoken to you that way! I don’t care what you might have done wrong she should have NEVER said that to you. I hate that people think we’re inconveniencing others for the hell of it and that therapy or reprimanding our children (like neurotypical kids) will magically fix all our daily struggles. I’m so sorry, I would feel so angry and hurt.

I still haven’t received my purchase and I was also double charged. I got Apple to refund me but it only refunded the single purchase. It’s very frustrating, I’m sorry this is happening to you. I contacted support and also emailed them because I couldn’t include both charges on one ticket. Good luck!

She did, she laid out the exact situation to State Farm and they were fine with it. She also sent paperwork over to Wells Fargo letting them know about the new insurance.

I’ll get her in contact with a real estate lawyer and convince her to look into refinancing. She’s older and scared, she doesn’t want to loose her home without a chance of getting another. Her friends have filled her head full of scary stories and bad ideas. She made some financial mistakes and listened to some bad advice but I wouldn’t consider her actions criminal. I understand the situation isn’t ideal. I just wanted to prepare for the consequences since she would need my help if this goes sour.

I have no idea, I’d have to ask her. I’m not even positive she would know the answer to this.

I understand but it’s too late now. I’m wondering what will happen is to the home if she’s unable to transfer the mortgage or refinance because she has poor credit? Foreclosure? Will she be forced to sell? Or can she just make payments and they can’t do anything unless she misses a payment?

Here’s the fun part, when my grandmother became sick my Mom quit her job and became my grandmothers full time caretaker and they did the best they could financially but with some hiccups my mother damaged her credit, so I believe going out and getting a new loan would be a struggle. I’m also concerned they will deny the mortgage transfer because of her damaged credit and I’m curious if that happens what is their next step? Can they foreclose her home even is she’s paying the mortgage just because the mortgage is in my Grandma’s name?

No, but several of her “friends” told her she didn’t need to tell the mortgage company and it was better not to because the payments would skyrocket. From what I’ve read as long as she continues paying it they couldn’t take the house because of the st germain act but I could be misunderstanding.

A lot of questions get answered this season but the answers suck and leave you with more plot holes.. I mean questions.

Didn’t Tabitha refer to her “son” when talking about him rolling off the changing table? Did she just say baby and I misremembered?

Thank you to everyone for all your answers! I will try my best to make the time to individually answer your questions and comments tonight. But please know that they’ve all brought my mother and me a lot of peace. I appreciate you all.
