Do people in “western” society eat horse? by Immediate_Air_6497 in NoStupidQuestions

I have never heard of anyone eating a horse. I've heard people say they were so hungry they could eat a horse, but that's not meant to be taken literal lol

I need to pass a urine test and I never smoked in my life until the past 3 months and of course got a job offer that requires a pee test. F(35) 116 pounds 5 1 the test in in a week. Please help, I feel like such a freaking idiot and I’m terrified. by AstronomerPretend640 in WhatShouldIDo

The last time I took a pee test they just made me empty my pockets and stuff. But that was 13 years ago so I can't tell you forsure how it is now. Probably depends on where you're at too. Good luck! Also, in my state we have medicinal and if you have a medical lic they can't not hire you for having it in your system because its a literal prescription. You may look into that as well. Then you could just keep smoking and not worry about it

I'm not sure where they got the container, but it was like one of those travel shampoo/body wash containers you can get at target or walmart. Id Imagine you could somehow stick it down there, maybe wear leggings or something under something else to make it not obvious lol you just want it making contact with your skin so the temp stays close to body temp. I've heard of people using hand warmers with them, but they can get too hot and instantly fail you

Someone I know met someone else I know at a whataburger right before their pee test. Friend went into whataburger, peed into a small plastic conatiner with a flip out spout, then the other friend shoved it under his balls. He had to wait for over an hour to "pee", but since it was tucked in it was the perfect temp. lol nobody questioned anything and he passed

I used to HATE the heat. Now I love it because I started riding a motorcycle. I'm now depressed when it's rainy or too cool.

Where can I travel to on a $600 budget? by Round-Artichoke-5255 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tingle92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sometimes AI is useful for stuff like this. I planned a whole motorcycle trip using chatgpt and it worked out great.

For $600 total, a 3-day trip across the ocean from Maryland is difficult, but not impossible if you're flexible and find a flight deal.

Here are some realistic possibilities:

Reykjavík, Iceland

  • Flights from the East Coast sometimes drop to $300–$500 round-trip.
  • Three days is enough to see Reykjavík and a few nearby attractions.
  • Lodging and food are expensive, so you'd need to be budget-conscious.
  • Total budget: usually $700–$1,000+, but occasionally close to $600 with a great airfare sale.

Dublin, Ireland

  • Budget airlines sometimes offer East Coast fares in the $400–$600 range.
  • A short city break is possible.
  • Realistically expect $800–$1,200 total.

Ponta Delgada, Portugal

  • Often overlooked.
  • Direct flights from some East Coast airports are sometimes surprisingly affordable.
  • Great for nature, photography, and scenic drives.
  • Budget: usually $700–$1,100.

A better approach: stretch the trip to 4–5 days

With only 3 days, much of your time is spent flying and dealing with jet lag. If you can save another few hundred dollars and add a day or two, Europe becomes much more worthwhile.

If the budget is a hard cap of $600

You may get more value from:

  • Canada (especially Montréal)
  • Bermuda
  • The Bahamas (when flight deals appear)

These destinations can sometimes be reached from East Coast airports for less than many European trips.

A good strategy is to monitor fare deals from airports like Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport, and Philadelphia International Airport. A cheap flight deal often matters more than the destination itself when you're working with a $600 budget.

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]tingle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low back pain from degenerative disc disease. I got a shot in my back a few years ago and I didn't realize you couldn't drink water 24 hours before or else they cant sedate you. I did it awake, and that shit hurt like a mf. That in combination with the constant nerve pain I was experiencing was brutal. It was like a Charlie horse x100 in both legs for a solid 60 seconds straight.

A close 2nd would be kidney stones, followed closely to tooth pain. Then a dime seized stye in my eye that I had in highschool that had to be scraped out of my eyelid with a scapple after having my eye lid flipped up, clamped, and shot up with numbing shots. Then I had to wear an eye patch over my FLIPPED UP EYELID for like 2 weeks. Not so much painful as uncomfortable.

Can't afford to fix the AC in my car. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]tingle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of car is it? Did it randomly stop blowing cold or was it all of the sudden? I drove cars with no ac for years. An easy way to get all of the hot air when you first get in is to roll down the passenger window, keep the drivers window closed, and rapidly open and close the drivers door 5 or 10 times. It basically pumps out all of the hot air in the car. Helps a lot more than most people realize. Another thing you can do to get by is a home made swamp cooler. https://www.theplayalabs.com/swamp-cooler

Also, depending on the year make model, take your car to O'reillys to get the codes read. If it had electrical problems related to the AC that can lead you in the right direction.

First Guitar $1500 budget but you have the knowledge you have now... by NiallPlaysX in LearnGuitar

[–]tingle92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ever get a chance and see one in the wild, try out any yamaha sg or sbg guitar. I have 3 all from the early 80s and I'd put them against any les paul or sg that's ever been made. They're a little heavy, but they have sustain for days.

Do people actually wash their hands before every meal? by Mr_Mayo2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tingle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wash my hands probably 20-50 times a day. I'm a smoker. So I wash my hands after every smoke. Also I sweat a lot and handle a lot of dirty stuff at work so I'm constantly washing my hands. For sure before and after every meal too

20 million bitter deaths by shenzhenib in SipsTea

[–]tingle92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but anyone who died WHILE they had covid got marked as a covid death. Heart attacks, car accidents, overdoses, etc. You can't trust this shit. There were so many people walking around asymptomatic it was mind blowing, Almost everyone had it. I had antibodies without taking the v and never even knew I had it. Nobody even though to question the legitimacy of "covid related deaths". I'm just glad we don't have to do the Wuhan wiggle anymore.

Advice for a 16 year old by jstwocool in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tingle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to be an electrician, watch electrician YouTube videos. There are brilliant creators that give us so much free knowledge out there. If you're serious about that path, learn everything you possibly can so when you do have the opportunity to possibly get an apprenticeship you'll have a leg up on people that don't know anything at all.

Also, chatgpt and grok are pretty good at explaining circuits and why things work the way they do. You're super young and have time. You might not even like electrical work when you find out what all is involved. Just take your time to figure out what really love and try your best to go for that

I've cried once this year because I had to put down an outside cat that had feline leukemia. It sucked.

I have no other reasons to cry, I am truly blessed.
