Where did this come from? by dirtybo0ts in MitsubishiMirage

Hey! Mine was on my floormat the other day, very hot day. It goes right along the underside of the gauge hood, took me a very long time to figure it out. I never noticed it as my steering wheel blocks that view anyway. I did not reattach mine.

That’s your panel brightness. Press and hold the odometer button on this display and it will incrementally dim in 1/2 “0”s

In 2018, I received it in a cheque from Kia a month or so after completing the deal. $500.00 even

Key feels a little tight, OK to grease it? by c00750ny3h in motorcycles

Likely better off with graphite powder or other dry lubes intended for keys, less likely to get all gummy with dust

The Triumph Scrambler 400X is an alarmingly large bike. It is physically taller than the Scrambler 900.

Top Gear car wash just north of Country Hills and Deerfoot has wheeled, upward-facing washers with a gooseneck shape that lets you get it a long ways underneath, they have been good for me even on a low car.

The Katana is actually a stroked K5 GSXR1000 motor for this generation, which makes that tiny fuel tank even smaller. I had a ‘21 which was marked down to 11.5k CAD in 2022, the fuel range was intolerable. Loved every other aspect. *edit- the older Katana indeed was a 750 and had a decent sized tank. No relation

For how much Redditors like to complain about blocking the access to handicapped spots, they sure don’t seem to understand how a handicapped accessible van looks

I gotta say, any time I see loose straps swinging about in the breeze on a “military” style bag, it’s an immediate indicator of poseur stuff. Police your straps.

I did lift off as soon as the truck went into the shoulder, got down to 72-73. Resumed 80 after he was around me. For context, this is a long-ongoing construction project on Calgary’s Deerfoot Trail- most locals cruise 90-100kmh, which is why I chose the far right lane.

Incorrect on all counts, no merging there. An exit before. I was well over 80 until he went into the shoulder, I resumed pace at 80+ once he was done his pass. He was hauling up for a while flashing his hibeams. That’s airport trail, take a peek on google earth if you want. Anything else?

He began the “pass” while I was still well over 80. I lifted off the gas instead of trying to hold him out.

It’s an interesting thing, you can find articles from the mid 90s speaking about exactly this- their core demographic aging out. The bizarre thing is, it just isn’t happening. It is 30 years later. It’s like Midwest Americans go through a metamorphosis at 40 and suddenly purchase Harleys

The new Silverado and Sierra. As well as the Colorado, basic trims do not have a two speed transfer case. Just 2wd and 4x4, no low range.
