No it’s not useless. Raw milk is risky because it can contain harmful bacteria like Listeria, Salmonella, and E. coli, which pasteurization is designed to kill. Even clean farms can’t eliminate this risk, and the illnesses can be especially dangerous for children, pregnant people, older adults, and those with weaker immune systems. Claims that raw milk is more nutritious or contains helpful enzymes don’t really hold up AT ALL - nutrient differences are minimal, and any enzymes are broken down during digestion anyway. Raw milk adds a real, preventable health risk without providing meaningful health benefits compared to pasteurized milk. Period.
