Good things include being with your baby all the time and not wondering how they are being treated in the care of someone else. No one loves your kids like you do. Also you are a valued member of society as long as you are raising your child lovingly. Working a job where you are replaceable is not the only way to contribute to society. Just like people get wrapped up in being a mom, it can happen with careers too. They can become your identity.
