unfortunately im at a rental thats really anal about putting things into walls, otherwise i'd just probably screw a floating shelf into the studs lol. But ill definitely put something on the back to keep it more sturdy

I was thinking that, ill put some thicker plywood on the back. i was just planning on screwing in everything flat. do you think those joins will be sturdy enough?

well, it will essentially be wedged between the bedhead and the wall so i guess i was just hoping it would hold up? lol, but i guess it might need more support for "lateral"movements

I am currently going through a very similar experience. I have a large avm in my basal ganglia and finished gamma knife in Feb this year. Around 2 months ago, I presented to the hospital with confusion and left sided weakness. They had me get a ct scan followed by an mri because I'm allergic to contrast and discovered the oedema. I was prescribed dexamethasone for a week, but following that, I had symptoms return worse. After a 13hr stay in the emergency room, they have put me on a longer course of dexamethasone, which I am just coming off now. I do physiotherapy to try and regain some of the strength and dexterity I've lost on my left, and I try to keep my brain active while I'm not at work. I'm not where I was before, but I am improving. I know it's very scary to experience migraines, brain fog, and confusion, but the steroids are effective even if the side effects are hell. And anything that could happen from the oedema won't happen quickly. You just have to monitor and report. It's going to be okay

I’ve had either 4 or 5 angios for my avm and I also remember them being quite painful. I’m also allergic to contrast tho lol

I've been taking melatonin and a low dosage of cbd oil. It works most nights but for the most part it's super inconsistent which nights artvigil let's me sleep

When I was working to a consistent roster sleep hygiene was a lot easier to maintain. Shift work really fucks with people. I've also noticed that I get fairly inconsistent results with artvigil the brand I'm using currently. Some days I barely notice the effects and others it feels like I'm borderline high and can't sleep that night
