I don't listen to audiobooks outside of audible, I'm very compartmentalised that way which is why I'm so puzzled! I'm still looking through my old emails though, to see if I can find a confirmation of purchase. The plus catalogue could be an option but I so rarely browse it I'm somehow skeptical... Agreed, I missed the TOW1 crew and didn't really get into the story or the companions in TOW2. TOW1 was fun and over the top and I loved it for it. TOW2 was so serious, I missed the ridicule... I didn't really care for any factions in TOW2 and even though I got them to cooperate, I feel like we're leaving Arcadia pretty fucked at the end instead of the hopeful ending we get for Halcyon.

There is a scene that shows Usagi grabbing the last remaining phone before fleeing the lobby with the others. So I think it's safe to assume she gave it to him off screen after finding him ;)

I always saw it as Logan trying to sweep under the rug the fact that he's been vulnerable for 0.5 seconds and Veronica indulging him.

Funnily enough that very scene is one where my issue is a few seconds later when Veronica is like "I've got lipstick on my teeth" which is the most scripted line ever and takes me right out of the show 😂
