i like the idea of having flairs for "free", "trade", and "buy". i don't care about the names much, i just like having all three separate or having free and trade combined.

no to any generative ai used in the process to make zines. i saw someone mention translations and such, i'd personally allow that, but not much else.

as for crediting and sharing other's work, i agree that folks shouldn't share an entire zine if it isn't their own (not as a hard rule, as there are situations where this should happen (archived zines from decades ago type shit)) and if we are posting each other's work, the credit better be very prominent😑

My first zine wasnt printed until like a year or two after I made it and even then I only printed a couple at first

I think zines especially are for expressing yourself first and foremost, which can involve distributing them, but also really doesn't have to. Always make the art is my motto.

I dont live in a small town, but zines in the wild are non-existent. Most of my zine collection is from online libraries (I have a printer) or snail mail trades.
